About The Job
We are looking for an experienced digital design engineer to create and verify digital blocks for optical mixed-signal chips. The ideal candidate will have experience in both RTL design and detailed verification in analog mixed-signal chip development. As an optical system digital engineer, you will be a key player in Credo’s development of high-speed optical system for data-center applications.

We are looking for an experienced digital design engineer to create and verify digital blocks for optical mixed-signal chips. The ideal candidate will have experience in both RTL design and detailed verification in analog mixed-signal chip development. As an optical system digital engineer, you will be a key player in Credo’s development of high-speed optical system for data-center applications.
Responsibilities

• Complete flow owner for digital design and verification for optical systems and various related ICs.
• Design and synthesize RTL for various chip interfaces, including I2C, SPIE, USB, PCIE.
• Create digital simulation test bench for integration test with a chip top level including block level verification and full functional multi-chip system-level verification.
• Create system-level DFT circuitry to improve yield and reduce test cost.
  

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience in digital design and verification.
• Experience in Cadence or Synopsys digital design and verification platforms.
• Extensive knowledge of SystemVerilog, VerilogA, and UVM testbench.
• Experience with analog mixed-signal verification.
• Programming languages: Python, Tcl, regression testing tools.
• Direct experience in physical digital implementation is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of conducting engineering analysis and simulations to validate design concepts. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of delivering innovative and practical solutions.
• Mature communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate technical concepts and present design proposals. Ability to incorporate inputs from various chip and system-level design owners, as well as operation teams.
• Adept at managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
