Franklin Templeton is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist, Asia to be based in either Singapore or Hong Kong. This role will report to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Asia and provide support to the development and delivery of various innovative and forward-looking digital solutions aligned with business objectives. The role holder will implement digital communication strategies as part of the overall Marketing mix, driving effective targeting, engagement and customer growth. He/she will also assist the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Asia in identifying and implementing programs of digital innovation across the business that will support a transformative Marketing agenda. Working closely with Segment Marketing, Content Marketing and Events Marketing to develop and deliver cutting edge strategies to engage, acquire and retain clients.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?

  • Implement the digital marketing strategy and initiatives for the Asia region across various channels, including paid media, websites, email, social media, SEO, campaigns, and events.

  • Develop and plan engaging social media content for channels such as LinkedIn, WhatsApp, WeChat, and Line to connect with clients and measure its effectiveness.

  • Manage webmaster responsibilities and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely website updates, global content rollouts, SEO improvement, and track website analytics for ongoing optimization and an enhanced user experience.

  • Utilize paid media channels such as online advertising platforms and sponsored content to strategically reach target audiences, boost brand visibility, and drive engagement and conversions.

  • Collaborate with Client Marketers and the broader marketing team to ideate and strategize digital marketing executions for integrated campaigns and events, spanning across various channels.

  • Monitor digital channel analytics and prepare performance reports by tracking activities, goals, targets, KPIs, and budget for all initiatives. Evaluate results and continuously improve future campaign performance and metrics.

  • Maintain organized records and perform housekeeping duties to effectively track and manage various channels, including the website, email, and social media calendar, ensuring efficient operations and smooth workflow within the team.Stay informed about the latest developments in the digital marketing and distribution space and propose innovative solutions to enhance digital marketing tactics.

What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Passionate and commercially minded digital specialist with at least 1-2 years of working experience in a digital marketing role, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering results in the financial services industry.

  • Experience with paid media, social media, data analysis, and/or website management would be an advantage.

  • Results-oriented and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, working well both within a team and independently.

  • Demonstrating keen attention to detail when it comes to data, and overall presentation of information.

  • Good project management abilities with excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Cantonese and English preferred due to regional coverage.

  • Possessing a positive and open-minded attitude, with a willingness to learn new things.

  • Collaborative nature to foster and strengthen successful relationships with Asia and global stakeholders.
