The Role Responsibilities

  • Leading the webmaster and content developers, this position analyses web traffic and user behaviour to create enhancements to offer a new digital banking website experience that increase traffic and engagement.The ultimate objective is to drive and maximize the business opportunities via the web.

Business

  • Leading the transformation and commercialization of the website that fits the needs of today’s consumers and segments
  • Leverage data and MarTech for personalization and journey experiences that drive leads into sales funnels
  • Understand how best to utilize customer behaviour via analytics with behavioral economics to deliver web strategies that maximize business opportunities
  • Develop and execute search strategies for on-page and off-page optimisation
  • Lead development of A/B/multivariate tests, personalized experiences, campaign pages to optimize engagement and increase conversion rates
  • Collaborate closely with Country Marketing, Product, Segment owners, and web developers
  • Keep abreast of the latest search engine algorithm, advertising platforms, web design best practices, and the business trends, and continuously adjust the web strategies
  • Analyse business requirements, turn them into technical implementation, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS
  • Perform regular debug/fix/troubleshoot/QA checks to maintain a high standard of performance of website features, functionalities, and assets across all platforms
  • Ensure and monitor website security and risk management, data integrity and perform necessary updates
  • Lead website scorecard by tracking performance with web analytics and translating insights for optimization

  • Influence stakeholders, able to convince and motivate others to achieve the common business goal.
  • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values.
  • Provide training for local teams, if necessary, of the CMS and related tools
  • Responsible for achieving and maintaining satisfactory audit rating where needed.
  • Ensure that team members are aware of the Group Policy and relevant local statutory requirements, relevant money laundering procedures and controls are in place.
  • Ensure adherence to bank's risk management framework and conduct requirements.

Governance

  • Ensure adherence to bank's legal & compliance requirements.
  • Establish clear and well documented business processes, establish checking & mitigation mechanism to ensure proper implementation.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the Database Marketing team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles. Fair Outcomes for Clients and The Right Environment 
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)

  • Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in Digital Sales & Marketing web team. Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; 

Our Ideal Candidate

  • At least 8 years of work experience with solid track record managing website with at least 500K monthly visitors
  • Relevant experience in driving sales through website
  • A university degree, preferably in Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated understanding of the retail banking products and competitive landscape
  • Solid skills and knowledge Content Management Systems, Accessibility W3C standards, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Google Analytics, SEO, and CRO.
  • Proven knowledge in search engine algorithm, tagging and data tracking, A/B testing.
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Out of the box and proactive thinker, and natural leader
  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, collaboration and communication skills
  • Fluency in Traditional Chinese and English
  • A passionate proactive team player and able to roll up the sleeves
