Director of Sourcing, North Asia

Full Job Description

A world renowned European investment bank is look for a top notch sourcing professional to manage HR, Corporate Services, Real Estate and Facilities Management categories.

Responsibilities :

• Support the vision of being a leading Supply & Demand Management organization by developing the sourcing community towards best practice according to the Supply & Demand Management strategy framework.
• Support development and manage best-in-class commodity strategies and sourcing area plans.
• Drive the initiative portfolio in order to provide maximum value to the bank.
• Balance the priorities of the internal business partner with Supply & Demand Management's mandate.
• Ensure effectiveness of the global sourcing community by cooperating with regional/global sourcing to tasks (e.g. sourcing initiatives) in a way that the value generation will be optimized.
• Achieve targets concerning sourcing area in scope (savings, quality, time, risk).

Qualifications & Experience :

• University degree (ideally in economics or Supply Management)
• 10+ years experience in strategic sourcing in an international environment or industry experience equivalent
• Excellent communication and stakeholders management skills 
• An independent professional who is able to hit the ground running
• Strong oral and written English (mandatory), fluent Mandarin would be an advantage
