Head of Procurement

Full Job Description

Our client is a sizable and expanding organization listed in Hong Kong. They are seeking a high calibre candidate to lead the procurement team.

Responsibilities:

• Review and refine procurement policies and procedures.
• Manage sourcing and supplier relationship management to ensure high-quality supply of goods and services, together with driving cost improvement plans;
• Responsible for all indirect procurement including but not limited to Facilities Management, Minor Works/Fit-out, IT, Professional Services, Marketing and etc.
• Maintain a well-established Procurement and Purchasing systems and make continuous improvement of the overall process;
• Negotiates, reviews, and executes contractual arrangements per company policy and business objectives.

Requirements:

• University graduate in Purchasing and Supply/ any related disciplines or above;
• At least 12 years solid experience in procurement industry of sizable firm; 
• Procurement knowledge in China market is a plus
• Fluent English, Cantonese & Putonghua;
• Good negotiation skills and excellent interpersonal & communication skills;
• Disciplined and cautious with high level of integrity;
• Strong leadership skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
• Meticulous, self- motivated and well-organized.
