Job Title: Head of Sales (General Trade / Food Services)

About Our Client

Our client is a renowned FMCG group with a strong presence in the Greater Bay Area. The group has successfully marketed and distributed its services through various channels. To sustain the group's continuous development, they are looking for a talented and experienced Head of Sales to lead the Sales teams for specific channels and provide effective leadership in driving sales initiatives.


Responsibility

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Lead and manage the sales team (25+ field sales and channel sales), providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Identify new business opportunities, potential markets, and emerging trends to expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, retailers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall brand strategy.
  • Analyze sales data, generate reports, and provide insights to senior management for decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the sales forecasting, budgeting, and pricing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, sales guidelines, and relevant regulations.oordinate closely with various internal departments and external clients on service orders, materials delivery and production progress etc.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 8 years in sales management, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in leading and motivating sales teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of FMCG market dynamics, trends, and sales techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
