work closely with senior leaders to advise and support the business
unit on translating business priorities and organization needs into
people and human resources initiatives
Main
Job Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering
- Partner with unit leaders to consult, share insights and execute critical HR topics, with a focus on creating a high-performing and productive workforce, and enhancing change mindset as aligned with the Business and Corporate Strategy
- Act as a trusted HR advisor on unit overall’s people matters including performance, terminations, disciplinary issues and career development
- Manage and execute BASF HR framework to China and Rest of Asia (annual process will be administered by Country HR team), including annual salary review and performance management. Ensure implementation and review effectiveness
- Manage external and internal recruitment process and ensure seamless employee onboarding
- Facilitate management decision and approval for delegations, including development plan, cost implication and repatriation
- Foster employee engagement and motivation by promoting recognition and regular employee communication
- Coordinate annual manpower planning in Industrial Petrochemicals Business, proactively track and monitor the manpower
- Provide advice on organization design, restructuring and cultural change, execute specific measures, and support related communication
- Perform effective HR analytics by
analyzing relevant parameters (e.g., Recruiting Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs)/staffing situation, demographics, attrition etc.)
and proactively identify issues, highlight implications, and derive
actions if needed. Provide data driven insights for business decisions
Talent Management
- Facilitate talent development in the unit based on business needs, including related discussions such as succession planning and talent review/forum
- Discuss with unit leaders to identify training needs and, if applicable, demand for customized solutions
- Develop systematic analytics or tools to constantly monitor and evaluate the efficiency of talent management activities, including foster linkage with learning solutions
- Manage relevant talent management
data and systems
Investment Project
- Support
senior leaders on developing strategy for the organization build up of
investment projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related discipline
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant HR experience in multinational company (MNCs) preferably with at least 3 years as strategic HR Business Partner
- Track record in managing organizational build-up
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational and cultural awareness
- Strong business acumen, experience working with senior management and ability to operate and influence in a matrix environment
- Entrepreneurial and customer focus with drive to successfully steer HR solutions in the region
