About Our Client

Our client, a fast-growing casual grab-and-go food production company, is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join their team. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's procurement activities and working closely with different teams to ensure high quality and cost-effective material purchasing.

About The Role:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
• Conduct research to identify potential OEM suppliers for materials, goods, and services.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, product development team , and quality assurance) to ensure that procurement needs and quality are met.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations through market research.
• Develop and manage purchasing budgets.

The Successful Applicant:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in food procurement, preferably have experience in food sourcing for Japanese restaurant or food production company .
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
• Fluent English and Cantonese
