Job Description

• Assist in establishing an architecture framework of data, application, technology policies, principles, standards and guidelines, and facilitates their adoption around the following domain: Fixed Odds Wagering / Pari-mutuel Wagering / Customer sales channel systems including e-Commerce and EPOS / Testing /Deployment architecture
• Participate in designing solution for software application, data management and systems integration of the Strategic Programme
• Participate in conducting feasibility study, proof-of-concept and prototyping of new business enabling technology as well as the RFP for implementing the technologies
• Ensure alignment of architected solution against business requirements and system design by working closely with business and deliver teams
• Assists in the resolution of technically complex, cross-system or long-term issues that impact business operation

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Post-graduate degree in technical or business fields is desirable
• 10 years of technical/architectural experience gained in the development of major systems and/or enterprise architecture
• 5 year experience in real-time/online transaction system design and development
• 4 year experience in designing application with high scalability, throughput, fault tolerance, recoverability and maintainability
• Wagering system experience is definitely a plus but not essential
• Good knowledge on wagering industry
• Good knowledge on e-commerce solution and security technology
• English proficiency (verbal and written)
• Knowledge in: Architecture Framework / Application, Technology and Data Architecture / Message Based System Integration and integration patten / Network infrastructure design concepts
• Good experience in either C#, C++, or Java
• Good experience in Windows platform and / or Linux platform
• Entity Relationship Modelling is a plus
