• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods, and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

• Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills

• Required to perform shift duties and work on weekend and public holidays, when and where required

Role Introduction
The Technician - Maintenance is responsible for the upkeep, repair and preventive maintenance of various equipment, machinery and facilities (including building works, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems) within the company's premises. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for managing maintenance records, supervising outsourced contractors, assisting with projects, and performing on-call and shift work as required.
Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance, repair and operation of the electrical & mechanical systems / air-conditioning systems within the premises.
• Organize the maintenance tools and equipment warehouse in the premises.
• Manage maintenance records by using the facility management software.
• Supervise outsourced contractors to ensure that they work according to the company requirements and safety standards.
• Assist in completing projects and maintenance works.
• Required to be on-call during events and on-duty.
• Perform shift work as required by the position and projects, including emergency maintenance support.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
  

• Form 5 or above education level.
• At least 2 years of experience in the operation or maintenance work.
• Holder of a valid Construction Safety Card
• Holder of an electrical/building services/building studies certificate or above is preferred.
• Holder of relevant registered semi-skilled worker or registered skilled worker registration is preferred.
• Holder of registered electrical worker Grade A license or above is preferred (applicable for electrical/mechanical positions).
• Familiar with different systems and characteristics of electrical / mechanical / building services installations(applicable for electrical/mechanical positions).
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese. English communication is preferred.
• Meticulous, hardworking, proactive and responsible.
