Job Summary:

Job Duties:
Being part of Group Risk Management Systems team, you will lead the onboarding of a SaaS system solution to HKEX, ensuring that it aligns to the firm’s IT standards and best practices, as well as compliance to security and operational guidelines so as to provide maintenance of the system going forward.
Also you will manage and drive the migration of a containerized application from public cloud to on-premise private cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Participate in project planning, timeline management, change management, issue management and release planning. Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to project milestones, and effectively communicate project status to stakeholders

- Technical Acceptance: Evaluate documents and evidence provided by vendors and development teams on system design, testing, security, deployment topology, and conformance to technical standards. Ensure the system is fit for use before deployment in production.
- Project Financials: Track project costs and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- Documentation and Training: Create detailed internal documents as well as review vendor and development team documents for quality and completeness. Collaborate with vendors on detailed training plans.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization. Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and frameworks to enhance future implementations' efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in IT project management, including at least 3 years of experience in the financial industry.
- Technical Skills: Concepts of infrastructure technologies and IT security concept are needed. Experience with cloud platforms is a plus.

- Capacity Management
- Monitor and optimize bandwidth, CPU, memory, and trunk utilization. Recommend and implement upgrades.
- Office & Data Center Relocations
- Support global office builds, renovations, and decommissions, including new data center setups.
- 8+ years in network engineering within financial services
- Deep understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, multicast, NAT, DNS, load balancing)
- Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure projects: DC migration, app/cloud transitions, VM lift-and-shift
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Able to build frameworks, structure PM processes, and navigate complex internal procedures
- Hands-on, results-driven, and capable of leading engineers and junior PMs
- Familiarity with tools like Jira (the client is migrating)

About The Opportunity
The client is embarking on a series of strategic network transformation initiatives and is looking for 1–2 experienced Technical Network Project Managers to join a high-impact team. This is a rare opportunity to lead mission-critical infrastructure projects for one of Asia’s most influential financial institutions.
What You’ll Work On
You will be responsible for driving and supporting a variety of complex, business-critical projects, including:
- Network Refresh Programs
- Manage the full lifecycle of aging infrastructure – from assessment and budgeting to procurement and implementation.
