This position is responsible for conducting research and analysis across VMS Group’s diverse investment portfolio, which includes Private Equity, Structured Finance, Hedge Funds, Venture Capital, AI, Real Estate, Venture Capital, and strategic partnerships. The role also involves evaluating industry and market trends of the above products.

Job Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business analytics and financial data from internal stakeholders across funds, projects, and investments in sectors, such as Private Equity, TMT, Healthcare, AI , Hedge Funds, and Real Estate, etc. in Asia
• Conduct regular industry research on macroeconomic trends, regulatory developments, and other market factors impacting business performance
• Develop strategic reports and proposals to support management in business planning and decision-making
• Collaborate cross-functionally with investment and investor relations teams to ensure alignment of insights and execution

Requirements:

Education and Experience

·Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related discipline

· 7–10 years of experience in business analysis and industry research within the financial sector

• Strong understanding of Private Equity and Fund operations, including investment structures and performance metrics
• Proven ability to conduct industry research across diverse sectors and synthesize insights for strategic use
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data interpretation
• Solid knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or SQL)
• Strong presentation skills, with fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin/Chinese
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and investor relations
• Demonstrated project management capabilities, including planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Highly proactive and self-motivated with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
