We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join the team as a **Manager - Sustainable Finance & Transition** , who will support the sustainability and transition coverage of our clients. The role holder will focus on some of our priority clients as well as designated segments in our banking portfolio working closely with coverage and product teams. The role will report to the **Senior Manager, Sustainable Finance and Transition, Asia** .
**In this role, you will:**
**Sustainability content and thought leadership (support)**
+ Support the development of sustainability content and thought leadership.
+ Work with global teams and sustainability function to help develop market-leading content to support C-suite dialogue, market and sector insights, buy-side intel, and access to investment opportunities.
**Client engagement and origination (support)**
+ **Client planning:** Work with GRBs on client planning, supporting the SFT component of the client plan.
+ **Strategic Transition Engagement:** Support management of policies, financed emissions, transition engagement questionnaire and transition plan assessments along with the coverage team.
+ Develop client sustainability insights and pitch propositions, bringing along ESG product partners where relevant.
+ Support origination of sustainable finance across all products and support execution of sustainable finance deals for loans.
+ Support origination of non-sustainable finance labelled products through strategic sustainability dialogue.
+ Develop relationships with individuals responsible for sustainability agenda at client (CSO, COO, Innovation teams, investment teams.).
+ Connect clients to relevant partners and climate tech providers.
**Innovative solutions and coordination**
+ Inform and support launch of propositions to support clients in their transition journey based on customer needs.
+ Enable and upskill frontline teams, coordinating across products and COE to support commercialisation and risk management.
**Marketing and communication**
+ Work with marketing and communication partners to promote HSBC's efforts in this space including participating in (and where appropriate, supporting speaking opportunities at) industry events.
**To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:**
+ Ability to support cross-functional initiatives to identify sustainability-driven business opportunities within a client segment, helping bankers position relevant solutions and deepen client relationships.
+ Knowledge of key sustainability topics and experience contributing to technical sustainability-related conversations.
+ Knowledge of banking products and experience working closely with transaction banking and other product partners.
+ Experience supporting origination and/or execution of sustainable finance labelled products.
+ Exposure to informing and commercialising product and proposition development (in a supporting capacity).
+ Experience building strong relationships with first line and second line Risk partners and functions.

**Requirements** :
**Functional knowledge**
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, Business Administration)
+ Minimum of 5 years of working experience in sustainability, or related fields, preferably in a corporate setting or within the banking or financial services sector

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as **Senior Product Manager, Sustainable Finance,** reporting to the Head of Credit and Capital Management, Commercial Banking.
You will shape and execute the sustainable finance product strategy for Commercial Banking, drive the implementation and ongoing management of the financed emissions cap framework, and ensure rigorous product governance with full compliance across the portfolio.
Principal responsibilities
+ Act as the team lead in development and execution of the product strategy and multi-year roadmap for sustainable finance offerings in Commercial Banking, including green loans, sustainability-linked loans (SLLs), transition finance facilities, and other ESG-linked credit products tailored to corporate, SME, and priority sectors.
+ Ensure ESG product governance & post-approval monitoring to ensure full compliance with global standards.
+ Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management - from ideation, business case development, design, internal approval, launch, performance monitoring, periodic review, to enhancement or orderly wind-down.
+ Design, effective implementation, maintenance and continuous evolution of the financial emissions (FE) framework. Support FE reporting, ongoing monitoring of FE cap exposure, control effectiveness to ensure full alignment with HSBC Group's global net-zero targets, internal risk appetite statements and portfolio transition pathways. Execution of governance forum for regular and timely portfolio review, facilitate discussion and management decision making on deal prioritization and/ or limit reallocation to optimize the return and risk at Bank level.
+ Integrate FE and climate considerations into credit decisioning, portfolio steering, risk appetite calibration, and capital planning processes in collaboration with Credit Risk and Portfolio Management teams.
+ Lead the annual product governance review cycle across the entire sustainable finance portfolio, conducting comprehensive assessments of product design, target market, distribution, performance, risks, client outcomes, and compliance status, and ensuring full compliance with all applicable requirements.
+ Identify, escalate, and drive timely remediation of any governance gaps, control weaknesses, or compliance issues; maintain complete product documentation, approval records, and audit trails; and support internal audits and regulatory examinations.

Requirements
+ University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualification (Master's or MBA) or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, CFA ESG Investing Certificate, GARP Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR), or equivalent) are highly advantageous.
+ Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years focused on product management, sustainable finance/ESG product development, or corporate/commercial banking lending products. Proven people management / team leadership experience is essential.
+ Demonstrated track record of successfully developing, launching, and managing sustainable finance or ESG-linked credit products in a commercial or corporate banking context.

The Equities Delta One Middle Office is a specialist team within the Prime Finance division, providing dedicated support to the Delta One and Synthetic Prime Brokerage Trading & Sales desks.
This is a senior manager role, based in Hong Kong and reports directly into the APAC Functional Head. This role serves as a Subject Matter Expert and will supervise 4-6 junior-to-senior talent mainly focused on Trade Support and Control functions - including but not limited to:
+ Front-to-Back reconciliations on Stock Hedge, Equity Swap, Pnote, FX, ETF, Convertibles
+ Trade capture and exception management - technology outage, STP fails, external/internal set up issues
+ Collaboration with Asset Servicing teams on Corporate Action processing
+ Give-In and Cross on Swap processing across relevant APAC markets
+ Full trade lifecycle management on Equity Swap from MTM reset valuations to settlement
**In this role, you're expected to:**
+ **Business Partnership & Regional Growth** : Act as a vital liaison and escalation point to Front Office Sales and Trading, supporting our growing client roster and the expansion of our business footprint in Asia.
+ **Process & System Enhancement** : Drive the evolution of our operating model. Partner with business and technology teams on system enhancement projects to increase scalability and capacity. Champion initiatives to reduce manual touchpoints, de-risk manual processes, and optimize STP flow.
+ **Operational Risk & Control** : Proactively manage operational risk by adhering to and building upon our established control framework. Participate in external/internal audits and satisfactory fulfilment of requirements from regional and global Line Control teams.
+ **Performance & Risk Management Reporting** : Compilation and trend analysis of weekly KPI, KRI, MIS, GRC decks to Business Heads and Senior Stakeholders to provide a comprehensive and actionable view of organizational health.
+ **Team Leadership** : Mentor and develop talent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and deep product expertise.
**As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:**
+ **Experience** : 8-10 years in a relevant role (e.g., Middle Office, Prime Brokerage Operations, Trade Support), with proven record of managerial experience.
+ **Product Expertise** : Deep knowledge of Cash Equity and Equity Swaps, and the complete trade lifecycle (trade capture, settlements, reconciliations, corporate action) is essential.
+ **Client Focus** : Proven experience delivering exceptional service to clients. Carries excellent client service and communication skills, with the confidence to lead internal and client meetings and manage key relationships.
+ **Problem-Solving** : Excellent analytical skills with a talent for making sound, evaluative judgments in complex and dynamic situations. Track record of successfully improving processes, automating workflows, and contributing to technology projects.
+ **Mindset** : A proactive, results-oriented professional with an unwavering focus on risk management and building a strong control environment. One who is dynamic and agile and greets pressure and challenge in a fast-paced, high-volume, multitasking environment.
+ **Education** : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

This role supports the derivatives trade support operations function within Global Wealth & Asset Management in Manulife, with responsibility across both Cleared/OTC derivatives activities.
The role covers day‑to‑day trade lifecycle processing while also contributing to projects, process improvements and system enhancements. This position offers broad exposure across derivatives operations, collateral management and regulatory reporting.
**Position Responsibilities:**

**Position Responsibilities:**
· Receive derivatives trading requests from Relationship Management, Product Management and Portfolio Managers. Assess the trading documentations, broker accounts and internal system setups required to enable the derivatives trading pipeline.
· Facilitate the internal derivatives trading approval process and ensure that there is a governance structure around the onboarding of new accounts trading derivatives.
· Maintain status dashboards of derivatives account opening requests and present them to traders in regular meetings.
· Support Traders need for best execution by setting up the full range of desired derivatives brokers.
· Coordinate the derivatives trading related onboarding functions for new accounts and new brokers.
· Coordinate derivatives trading operational readiness within the Asia Derivatives Services team including middle office, operations and collateral management.
· Coordinate with Legal Services to ensure that proper legal agreements are put in place to support derivatives trading.
· Ensure that all account, broker onboarding and legal documentation is maintained.
· Maintain an accurate and complete matrix of accounts, authorized derivative products, derivatives legal agreements and active brokers.
· Contribute to the successful management of external broker relationships.
· Work with the Derivatives Solutions team to support the setup of technology to facilitate trading of new derivative product types.
· Take ownership of side projects to clean up records and validate broker setups.
· Contribute to the harmonization of the derivatives onboarding process with the Global Derivatives Services team in Boston.
· Continuously evaluate, identify and recommend practices and controls that will increase process efficiency and mitigate financial and operational risks.
· Collaborate with peers, other business units and functions both amongst Asian territories.
**Required Qualifications:**
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with at least 3 years' experience in asset management, investment operations and projects.
· Experience with Client Onboarding/KYC and Derivatives Account Opening is preferred.
· Experience with collateral, derivatives or other investment related products is a plus.
· Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task and the flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment.
