We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team as **Senior Digital Product Manager, Conversational Banking** , for the new AI bot platform (chat and voice). You'll be responsible for adopting future-state AI bot solutions, growing customer adoption of conversational channels, and increasing automation through traditional AI and GenAI. You'll work across Digital & CX and partner teams (e.g., UK, HK, Data & Analytics, Contact Centers, Wealth Solutions, Customer Segments).
Conversational Banking is globally accountable for HSBC's chat and messaging channels, delivering great customer experiences through a blend of AI and human support. **The role holder will:**
+ Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for conversational banking platform capabilities and journeys, ensuring customer needs are met and benefits are realised over time.
+ Design, build and run digital customer experience journeys for conversational channels, working with cross-functional teams (analysts, engineers, designers, scrum teams) across locations in a lean agile environment.
+ Act as product owner/champion for one or more products; select and adapt appropriate delivery methods (predictive and/or agile).
+ Analyse market/user research, feedback, expert input and usage data to identify needs and opportunities.
+ Prioritise product requirements and own the product backlog, anticipating changes in customer/user needs to enable agile delivery.
+ Collaborate with Customer and Product value streams to shape journey design and build (including transactional chatbots).
+ Help drive the Conversational Banking product strategy, combining business strategy, external trends and market needs; bring structure to ambiguous/large-scale problems.
+ Ensure a strong understanding of how conversational channels increase customer satisfaction and reduce cost, and that delivery aligns to Group Standards.
+ Manage multiple complex responsibilities across several business areas as required.
+ Keep fair customer outcomes at the heart of delivery, aligned to Best Place to Bank principles (Make Better Products, Sell Them Properly, Keep Them Sold).
+ Continually reassess operational risks considering economic/market conditions, legal/regulatory requirements, operating practices, restructures and new technology.
**Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:**
+ Previous experience in Digital Product Management.
+ Strong problem-solving mindset with an entrepreneurial drive; able to deconstruct problems and understand root causes.
+ Deep experience in customer-facing Conversational AI and GenAI products, ideally in banking/fintech.
+ Experience in global/regional roles delivering outcomes across diverse cultures.
+ Ability to set clear strategic direction aligned with Markets, Customer Segments and Physical Channels (preferred).
+ Extensive experience across digital product development: opportunity identification, business cases, requirements, deployment approach, execution, launch, and post-launch performance management.
+ SAFe experience, operating on quarterly planning cycles; able to ensure work is well-defined, prioritised, estimated and dependencies understood.
+ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to navigate differing viewpoints.
+ Proven ability to build relationships and influence without direct authority.
+ Data driven analytical approach to problem solving, looking to understand the underlying causes, so that we can build a global solution rather than a series of point solutions.
+ Experience of Design Thinking and leading run ahead work to explore new problems or potential ideas, bringing in Design, Analysis, Architecture and Engineering colleagues.
+ Consumer financial services industry experience and strong understanding of Digital business, while experience with travel, lifestyle, and/or other consumer product development is a strong advantage.
+ Good communication skills for navigating through business requirements, differences of opinion on approach.
+ Proven ability to build strong relationships across stakeholder groups.
+ Excellent understanding of the bank's risk framework and experience of working with second line of defence: legal, compliance, financial crime (AML & sanctions), fraud, risk.

With around 250 branches and automated banking centres, including around 50 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our branch network as **Retail Banking Sales Management Manager** , reporting to Head of Retail Banking Sales Management.
**Principal responsibilities**
+ Perform sales management to achieve the assigned KPIs.
+ Formulate and implement non-regulated product sales strategies and communicate to sales staff in the Area
+ Monitor non-regulated product sales activities and productivity metrics to ensure delivery is in accordance with sales pipeline in the Area
+ Collaborate with internal compliance and quality assurance units on sales quality of branch staff and take remedial measures to ensure strict adherence to the compliance standards
+ Maintain close communication with branches and other relevant departments to develop and implement necessary follow-up actions
+ Set clear performance targets and objectives for staff and monitor their progress regularly
+ Coach/ counsel/ motivate and develop staff members
+ Ensure all control measures relevant to the job responsibilities are undertaken to minimize the risk exposure of the Bank
+ Observe the established Bank's and Group's compliance policies and monitor their implementation
**Requirements**
+ University graduates are preferred, seasoned candidates with lower academic qualification will also be considered
+ Passes in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations (IIQE).
+ Proven experience in retail banking as well as exposure to frontline sales an advantage
+ Self-motivated with strong sales and customer orientation
+ Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
+ Strong drive to succeed and ability to work under pressure
+ Proficiency in both English and Chinese with sound knowledge of application software
+ Great sense of ownership and high level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
+ Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.

**Commercial Banking - Corporate Insurance & Investment Sales Quality Assurance & Business Management Department**

**Principal responsibilities**
+ Oversight on the end-to-end high-net-worth investment customer journey including but not limited to client on-boarding process, internal system design, product workflow and customer management.
+ Provide support to or manage projects, initiatives or programmes related to the department. May include leading / assisting with defining the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes
+ To review and formulate internal policies and procedures to maintain high customer service quality and compliance standard
+ Collaborate with other departments in driving investment compliance initiatives
+ To ensure the sales activities are complied with the Group's / Bank's internal control standards, that all activities are conducted according to the related guideline and procedure manuals
**Requirements**
+ University degree /or proven banking / investment experience. Candidate with experience in proposition management or middle offices from Private Banking is preferred.
+ Proven track record in Manager level or in a similar role
+ Good knowledge of investment products and business
+ Proficiency in both Chinese and English
+ Strong PC skills and familiar with the application software, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
+ Strong self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and under pressure
+ Strong organization skills, logical thinking skills and analytical skills
+ Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills
+ Pass in HKSI Licensing Examination for HKMA RI Type 1, 4, 7 registrations within 6 months in the post. Full knowledge of investment products and strong technical competency, good knowledge of the investment market and economic environment
