- The position requires a self-motivated, commercially pragmatic, business development person with singular focus on delivery of sales pipeline with strong relationship and management and influencing skills to partner with Mastercard's cross functional and country business teams to create and implement impactful card and payments programs for Global Customer Banks that drive Mastercard and bank business.
- The ideal candidate must possess solid payments industry experience in the APMEA region, preferably gained in product management with a bank on both the payment cards and the transaction banking side and with the ability to work across multiple disciplines, functions and cultures. Role
Support strategic merchant relationships and the development of advertising-driven product solutions that deliver measurable ROI. You'll help identify revenue opportunities, contribute to product definition and launches, and work with merchants and internal teams to drive growth through targeted advertising, audience activation, and robust measurement.
- Manage day-to-day merchant relationships and support the development of joint business plans.
- Identify and develop new growth opportunities; contribute to revenue pipeline tracking and pricing recommendations.
- Translate merchant pain points into product requirements; help prioritize core value and scalable capabilities that improve acquisition, frequency, and basket size.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, Partner Marketing, Legal/Privacy from discovery through GTM and lifecycle.
- Support ecosystem partnerships with adtech/martech, measurement, data providers, and media networks to extend reach and accelerate merchant value.
- Apply data governance, privacy, brand safety, and regulatory requirements in day-to-day product and partner execution; promote ethical data use and transparent measurement.
- Be responsible for seamless CA&E product development and management, focusing on local capability development.
- Work with our global counterparts to implement the solutions to the market, support our sales and account management team to deliver the customer success.
- Become the expert on best practice loyalty and continue to seek out new methods, business models, marketing tactics and technologies to keep at the forefront of the industry.
- Make continual recommendations to the business model, ensuring it is relevant and responsive to the market
- Partner cooperatively in a team environment to support the evolution of loyalty programs in market
- Support larger team functions related to ensuring customer compliance with Mastercard standards
- Achievement of budget & program KPI's/ goals including driving sales and managing margins.
- Assist with ad hoc requests, participate in special projects as required, and provide cross-functional support as needed
All About You:
- Min 6 years in card usage, partnerships, or data-driven marketing
- Experience delivering merchant ROI, campaign performance, or measurable commercial outcomes.
- Product management skills, highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of data-driven marketing, pricing, and stakeholder management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; comfortable managing multi-stakeholder discussions and partner-facing engagements.
- Experience working within privacy, data governance, or regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, quantitative graduate degree, or relevant industry certifications a plus.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Expert in PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Better with working skills on AI
- Ability to adapt to changes in a demanding work environment
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree required
- Native in Cantonese, Fluent in English
