**Job description**
**Role Profile**
To provide general trade supports functions to Securities Financing businesses. In-scope tasks include new trades capture, cancel & amend, life-cycle events monitoring and management, CA adjustment booking, trade reconciliation, PnL refresh etc. The team would also support any regulatory agenda and new business initiatives that impact the desks it covers.
**Principal Accountabilities:**

- Ensure trade capture completeness and accuracy
- Manage life cycle events
- Maintain portfolio structures
**Customers / Stakeholders**
- Facilitate the exchange of information between front office, middle-office and back-office (tickets, reports, e-mails) in order to address issues as soon as possible
- Coordinate with regional teams on inter-company/back-to-back transactions
**Leadership & Teamwork**
- Liaise with Static Data team to ensure static data and listed instruments are created accurately and timely
- Handle and resolve BO queries regarding payment and settlement
- Handle legitimate request from other parties
- Maintain good working relationship with all relevant parties
- Assist other members within the team when required
**Operational Effectiveness & Control**
- Ensure breaks are rectified and positions, especially interbook trades, are reconciled in timely manner actions
- Propose enhancement to current workflow and participate in the automation of FO-MO-BO processes
- Participate in the testing automation tool
- Write up and update procedures on tasks performed by the team
**Requirements:**
- Sound knowledge in Equity Derivatives or Delta1 Equity products and process
- Middle office experience within Equity & Derivatives market, preferably trade support role.
- An ability to process tasks in a timely manner with accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in process improvement is preferable
- Proficient in using Excel and other MS applications is preferable but not essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English.

**Principal responsibilities**
+ Lead a team to provide internal consultancy services on project /systems implementation, workflow design, and process re-engineering in variousRetail Banking and Wealthbusiness area.
+ Provide SME supports on investigating operational issues, problems and new opportunities. Provide initial high-level options for solution design, factoring feasibility (commercial, business, technical, delivery, etc.) and business / change impact.
+ Orchestrating end-to-end study on business models and process map of products and services with varying levels of complexity to help assess, and communicate to RBW management on how different scenarios impact existing state of business.
+ Drive the project team to prioritise product backlog by providing insight based on business knowledge, investigations, and analysis.
+ Steer the team to defining clear criteria for acceptable final solutions of work to ensure new business and services meet business and user needs and are aligned with organisational goals
+ Keep abreast on latest technology / best practices in different line-of-business within HASE, and/or recent technology trend in banking industry, and deliver changes to current processes with efficiency and cost improvement.
+ Acting as a role-model to foster a high engagement team to deliver good quality outputs which exceed user expectations.
**Requirements**
+ University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications.
+ Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in leading scrum teams to implement medium-large scale projects successfully.
+ Strong in project management/business analysis capability.
+ Knowledge in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Investment related business preferred.
+ Familiarize with different ranges of business analytical tools like data models, process flow construction, customer journey mapping etc.
+ Agile knowledge and scrum master experience will be an advantage.
+ Being proactive, innovative, with good communication and analytical skills, and is able to share previous experience on presenting his/her proposals in front of senior management.
+ Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
+ Ability to adopt a growth mindset and proactively identify and drive change opportunities across different stakeholders to secure their support.
+ Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
+ Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
