The Opportunity

Arup Programme and Project Management is inviting high caliber talent to support our business expansion for the increasing market coverage. The candidate will be working on high profile projects in Hong Kong.


  • Project management role of exciting projects in Hong Kong

Responsibilities


  • Report to the project leader
  • Implement effective project management for whole project cycle
  • Maintain day-to day communication with client, consultants, contractors for successful project outcomes
  • Manage project risks, value, change, cost to deliver the project
  • Implement digital and innovation tools to enhance project management process
  • Drive for sustainability goals


Is this role right for you?

Qualifications & Experience Required


  • Degree in building environment related disciplines such as Architecture, Civil, Structural, Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Project Management or other construction related degree
  • Minimum 6 years of experience for the position of Project Manager
  • Membership of relevant professional institution(s) will be advantageous
  • Conversant with Hong Kong building regulations and ordinances
  • Hands-on experience with BIM and programme planning tools (eg. P6) will be advantageous
  • Creative, self-motivated with good interpersonal and influencing communication skills
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels

This role is ideal for a driven professional looking to take the next step in their career, with a focus on executing valuation assignments, developing client relationships, and supporting business development initiatives. This role could be based in either Hong Kong or China.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and oversee valuation assignments, feasibility studies, and consulting projects with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Support the development of Colliers’ valuation services and contribute to fee generation
  • Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and stakeholders
  • Supervise junior team members and contribute to team development
  • Manage client communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with senior management on project planning and execution
  • Contributes to the enhancement of internal processes and best practices
  • Promote cross-functional services within Colliers
  • Frequent travel between Hong Kong-China will be required

Qualifications

  • University degree holder, program related to real estate
  • CIREA qualification is required
  • Member of RICS (Valuation) and/or HKIS (GP Division) with 6–10 years of post-qualification experience would be preferred
  • Strong industry network in Hong Kong/China
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
  • Detail-oriented with strong report writing and analytical skills
  • Committed to mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

As part of our continued investment in talent and growth, Colliers is seeking Associate Directors/Directors for our Valuation & Advisory Services team. This role is ideal for a driven professional looking to take the next step in their career, with a focus on executing valuation assignments, developing client relationships, and supporting business development initiatives. This role could be based in either Hong Kong or China.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and oversee valuation assignments, feasibility studies, and consulting projects with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Support the development of Colliers’ valuation services and contribute to fee generation
  • Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and stakeholders
  • Supervise junior team members and contribute to team development
  • Manage client communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with senior management on project planning and execution
  • Contributes to the enhancement of internal processes and best practices
  • Promote cross-functional services within Colliers
  • Frequent travel between Hong Kong-China will be required
Qualifications
  • University degree holder, program related to real estate
  • CIREA qualification is required
  • Member of RICS (Valuation) and/or HKIS (GP Division) with 6–10 years of post-qualification experience would be preferred
  • Strong industry network in Hong Kong/China
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
  • Detail-oriented with strong report writing and analytical skills
  • Committed to mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Overview

Our client is a global professional services firm known for its hands-on approach to strategic execution and delivering measurable outcomes. They specialize in end-to-end transformation with a strong emphasis on cost optimization, value creation, and execution excellence. We are helping them to seek a Senior Manager to join their Financial Services Advisory team in Hong Kong. This is a strategic hire aimed at expanding their capability in delivering high-impact transformation projects across the banking, insurance, and buy-side sectors.

Position Responsibilities
  • You will work closely with Managing Directors and Directors to lead and execute large-scale initiatives, with a focus on: Strategic execution, Cost reduction. Digital transformation, and M&A advisory
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and ensure successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to drive change.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and contribute to proposal creation.
  • Support the growth of the advisory practice by mentoring junior consultants and shaping internal capabilities.
  • Ensure projects deliver measurable outcomes and sustainable value for clients.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop actionable roadmaps for clients undergoing transformation or post-merger integration.
  • Lead the development of client deliverables, including business cases, operating models, and implementation plans, ensuring high-quality and timely execution.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory developments to provide clients with forward-looking insights and strategic recommendations.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA Degree is highly preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in consulting and/or in-house strategy roles, ideally within financial services.
  • Proven track record in delivering transformation projects in banking, insurance, or asset management.
  • Strong domain expertise in one or more of the following:
  • M&A advisory and integration
  • Cost optimization and restructuring
  • Digital strategy and implementation
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and managing complex engagements.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
  • Prior experience in top-tier consulting firms or financial institutions is highly desirable.
