Responsibilities:

  • Manage and ensure on-going effective and excellent service provision and performance of the cargo franchises including but not limited to cargo terminals, express centres, transit airmail handling facilities to ensure HKIA cargo operations competitiveness and business continuity
  • Facilitate business development needs of cargo franchises as aligned with the airportwide initiatives while complying with the contractual framework, including but not limited to term extension, facility expansion and redevelopment etc.
  • Build rapport and work with various air cargo industry stakeholders, including but not limited to cargo handling facilities, airlines, cargo agents, related associations and government departments in Hong Kong, GBA of the Mainland and overseas, to enhance cargo handling processes, resolve operation issues and handle contingencies
  • Formulate and lead strategic initiatives to drive HKIA cargo development
  • Participate and support on marketing initiatives to promote HKIA cargo capabilities through events, exhibitions etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transport, Aviation, Supply Chain or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years working experience in aviation related company with good knowledge in air cargo business. Proven experience in air cargo stakeholders relationship management and commercial experience in formulating and executing new solutions from concept to implementation.
  • Good planning, analytical and problem-solving skills with proven co-ordination and execution capability
  • Strong airline network is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership, able to work with internal and external stakeholders of different background
  • Proactive and well-organized, result-oriented, can-do attitude, fast learner and has passion to win

Position Summary
The Client Aviation Specialist is responsible for supporting the aircraft management department assigned to the managed clients. This position will primarily provide support by conducting operational analysis, financial forecasting, review of our financial reporting tools, expense report validation and approval, as well as other functions assigned by the Client Aviation Director.

Main Responsibilities
― Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions and complaints

― Resolves customer and vendor inquiries or complaints fairly and effectively, coordinating with internal teams as needed

― Provides product and service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships

― Recommends and implements programs to support customer needs, providing materials and guidance as needed

― Create and maintain aircraft and client onboarding (and termination) project activities, connecting client requirements and Jet Aviation protocols

― Revise onboarding activities checklists as needed

― Liaises with client and recruiters to coordinate crew interviews, crew compensation market data, or supplementary crew requirements according to client specifications and business need

― Manage and reconcile all assigned aircraft crew expenses

― Administer internal e-platforms, SharePoint sites, and proprietary platform processes relating to assigned accounts, ensuring client data is accurate and maintained

― Create and support aircraft sell sheets and marketing efforts, if applicable

― Create client data reports, budgets, and dashboards in conjunction with aircraft team members

― Support collection and risk mitigation efforts with client service team members

― Ensure amendments to client agreements (i.e., leases, certificates of insurance, etc.) are coordinated and documented according to internal processes and client requirements

― Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network

Minimum Requirements
― Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from four-year College or University strongly preferred.

― Basic Understanding Of Corporate Aviation Experience Highly Preferred.
― Customer relations experience required

― minimum 4 years of relevant work experience

― Accounting Experience Highly Preferred
― Experience working with CTA/FOS and SAP is desirable

― Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products

Role Purpose

  • Seek advice from superior to make decision significantly affecting the operational security and/or decision regarding safety risk tolerability with respect to the safety and/or security of aircraft operations;
  • Responsible for ensuring operations under their responsible areas are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and HKE's policies, standards and requirements;
  • Ensure flight planning and crew briefing duties are delivered in an effective and efficient manner;
  • Work closely with OCC, M&E, AOS and Crew control to implement cost effective solutions to day-of-operation problems and contribute to the FOCC decision making process;
  • Ensure relevant aircraft performance limitations, airport and ATC restrictions, RAIM prediction, weather and NOTAM advisories are available and considered for pre-flight preparation;
  • Ensure EDTO flight planning and support services are delivered with legal requirements;
  • Liaise with relevant authorities and Air Traffic Services Units / Centers for flight plan submission and filing;
  • Ensure flight plan and subsequent changes are filed before dissemination to flight crew;
  • Recommend alternative flight planning solutions to optimize allowable payload within regulatory requirements;
  • Ensure flight dispatch document packages and crew documents are prepared in a timely, orderly and professional manner;
  • Deliver flight dispatch document package and materials to the aircraft as and when necessary;
  • Handle crew queries and provide feedback;
  • Monitor emails, ACARS downlinks, telexes and all FOCC communication mediums and advise DMFOCC of issues that may affect flight planning;
  • Keep abreast of knowledge and latest developments in the areas of flight planning and Dispatch methodology, the regulatory environment, and technology;
  • Develop a professional and positive attitude towards work and encourage the same from staff through personal action;
  • Monitor and provide relevant metrological information and latest NOTAM to alert DMFOCC for airport status change;
  • Ensure automated aircraft position feeds from airborne company aircrafts are received and captured in the electronic aircraft tracking system;
  • Assist the Duty Manager in activation of crisis, safety and security response procedures;
  • Compile management reports;
  • Maintain own competence in the role of Duty Officer, Flight dispatch;
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Secondary educated and met the English language proficiency requirements of: 'Level 3' or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or; 'Grade E' in Use of English or Literature in English in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) or; A college diploma (except major in Chinese Language stream) or above awarded in Hong Kong or an English-speaking country;
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience;
  • Good command of both spoken and written Chinese, knowledge of Putonghua is preferred but not essential;
  • Willing to work shift duties with early start and/or late finish (including overnight shift).
