Overview
Regional Account Fire and Life Safety Lead. The Fire and Life Safety Professional will be responsible for implementing and managing fire and life safety protocols for JLL's client accounts across the APAC region. The objective is ensuring that our clients, our employees and sub-contractors have comprehensive fire and life safety protection and emergency response capabilities. The role is highly visible, fast-paced. The successful candidate must ensure that critical stakeholders, such as employees and clients, receive timely, relevant information and appropriate counsel for fire and life safety matters. They must foster a strong culture of fire and life safety preparedness and deliver world-class FLS results, improved safety outcomes and flawless execution. As a member of the client account team, they will support the implementation of the JLL fire and life safety strategy, and the role reports directly to the APAC HSSE Lead. Day-to-day accountability is to the client’s Account Director with regular reporting on FLS performance across the account to the Account Leadership team and the Client. Other key stakeholders include the account leads for regional Operations leads, account country leads, Engineering, HSSE, Finance, HR, Projects and Client Corporate Real Estate Team leads.
Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver monthly FLS reports analyzing fire and life safety performance metrics across the APAC portfolio.
- Maintain comprehensive FLS tracking reports for all facilities and safety equipment.
- Develop and distribute quarterly FLS regulatory updates covering APAC jurisdictional requirements.
- Create and manage FLS planner for scheduled inspections, maintenance, and compliance activities.
- Oversee new AED procurement and deployment across client facilities.
- Conduct and coordinate existing AED inspections ensuring compliance and functionality.
- Execute India-specific FLS actions in accordance with local regulations and client requirements.
- Proactively manage and measure account performance against key FLS metrics.
- Develop relationships with internal and external client key representatives in reaching FLS compliance.
- Develop competence by performing structured work assignments.
- Use existing procedures or work with team in solving complex fire and life safety problems.
- Act as account fire and life safety expert for instruction, guidance and advice to the account team.
- Portfolio will be APAC regional, covering multiple countries; activities will be within IFM and related construction projects from the account.
- A minimum 10 years fire and life safety management experience within operational management systems and working with corporate clients.
- Fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, and emergency communication systems.
- Building automation systems (BAS) integration with fire safety systems.
- Fire risk assessments and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Financial services/banking industry fire safety experience (preferred).
- High-rise commercial building and data center fire suppression systems.
- Multi-tenant office building fire safety coordination.
- APAC fire codes and building regulations (India, Singapore, Hong Kong).
- Authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) inspections and international fire safety standards (NFPA, BS).
