We seek an exceptionally skilled Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with extensive background in acute/critical care (ICU), emergency (ER), and/or complex medical/surgical inpatient settings to provide elite-level clinical care within a private household in Singapore . You will manage high-acuity health conditions, implement advanced care plans, and respond to emergencies for a patient with complex medical needs. This role demands autonomous clinical judgment, technological proficiency, and seamless adaptation of hospital-level care to a home environment.
Core Responsibilities: Clinical Expertise:- Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnostics, and evidence-based interventions for complex, unstable conditions
- Lead rapid response to emergencies within the home setting
- Develop/update individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, specialists, and allied health teams
- Coordinate hospital-to-home transitions, specialist consults, diagnostics, and medication regimens
- Oversee home-based medical equipment and ensure clinical safety
- Educate family/caregivers on clinical procedures, emergency protocols, and condition management
- Collaborate with domestic staff to ensure a sterile, safe environment aligned with clinical needs
- Uphold ICU/ER-level infection control standards in the home
- Advocate for patient needs across healthcare systems and during emergencies
- Conduct routine audits of care protocols and emergency preparedness
- APN Registered Nurse or equivalent
- Advanced Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS; ICU/ER-specific credentials highly preferred
- Minimum 5 years in acute settings: ICU, ER, or medical/surgical inpatient units
- Degree in Nursing – Master’s preferred
- Proven expertise in high-acuity skills: vent management, hemodynamic monitoring, advanced cardiac support, complex wound care
- Experience in home-based critical care is a strong advantage but not a must
- Fluency in English and/or Chinese Mandarin
- Open to relocation to Singapore

Hospital Authority (HA) is recruiting Locum Registered Nurses (General) on hourly pay rate from time to time for addressing short-term operation or ad-hoc manpower needs.
We welcome eligible nurses to register your information and work preferences for providing part-time services in public hospital of HA. Upon successful registration, you will be informed by the Locum Office. Should there be any locum job suitable for you, the Locum Office will contact you for the detailed job arrangement.
Pay
The pay rates are on hourly basis.
According to your relevant experience and duty hours, the hourly rate can be up to HK$420.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake general nursing and supervisory duties in HA hospitals, institutions and other medical services on a part-time basis, especially for supporting night shift.
Requirements
1.A Certificate of Registration (Part I) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
3.Preferably with HA/ agency nurse experience.
Remarks
1.Details of work hours and work schedule are subject to the final confirmation by Head of Department, Unit or Section and to be mutually agreed.
2.The arrangement of pre-employment checks is exempted or streamlined for leavers rejoining HA as locum staff as per prevailing practice.
