Job Description

As an Energy Associate, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis and evaluation of potential investment opportunities, including building complex financial models and performing comprehensive due diligence.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of investment proposals for investment committee review.
  • Drive proactive deal sourcing and lead sector research and analysis.
  • Contribute to value creation initiatives across portfolio companies.
  • Collaborate with team members on various strategic and operational projects related to portfolio management.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Energy Associate should have:

  • 3-5 years of investment experience, ideally in technology-focused companies.
  • Strong interest in emerging and complex technologies.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience in energy transition or decarbonization technologies is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Japanese or Korean is a plus.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Analyst position.
  • Role can be based in either Hong Kong SAR or Singapore.

Citi’s Banking franchise is organized around three lines of business: Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking. The unified Banking and International organization oversees the local delivery of the full firm to clients in each of the 95 markets where Citi has an on-the-ground presence.

Citi Investment Bank provides advisory, debt and equity capital markets solutions for corporations, governments and financial institutions.

The Banker is a senior level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume significant levels of responsibility for the various phases of project and transaction execution, new business development and overall growth of the firm
  • Work with clients, senior-level team members and outside professional advisors on M&A and special situation transactions as the primary day-to-day client point of contact
  • Work closely with clients on financing transactions and guide them through the capital raising process, including leading due diligence and drafting sessions and preparing them for an equity or debt offering
  • Overall responsible for drafting situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, investor and management presentations and oversee work being performed by analysts & associates assigned to projects

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically within Banking
  • Degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration
  • Previous experience in the broader natural resources or infrastructure space is highly preferred
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, and securities products

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred

Salary: HK$101,775 per month

Entry Requirements:

(a) minimum ten years of relevant full-time work experience in advanced manufacturing and/or new/green energy technology sector, preferably in managerial role;

(b) previous work experience in investment promotion, account management, business development, marketing, project management in the advanced manufacturing and/or new/green energy technology or public sectors would be an advantage;

(c) a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; more advanced degree(s) and/or professional qualification(s) would be an advantage;

(d) strong knowledge of and experience in the local and global advanced manufacturing and/or new/green energy technology sector;

(e) extensive network in the advanced manufacturing and/or new/green energy technology ecosystem;

(f) fluent in spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua with strong writing skills in English and Chinese; and

(g) able to work under pressure and have a strong sense of responsibility as well as ability to work independently.

Duties:

The Chief Manager (Advanced Manufacturing and New Energy Technology) is mainly responsible for –

(a) Leading the Advanced Manufacturing and New Energy Technology Team to source high-potential target companies in the advanced manufacturing and new energy technology sector;

(b) Assisting the Executive Director to implement and follow through tailor-made packages of incentives offered to strategic enterprises;

(c) Collaborating with the Dedicated Teams for Attracting Businesses and Talents in Mainland and overseas, international and local industry partners, government bodies and key stakeholders to generate a strong pipeline of strategic companies in the advanced manufacturing and new energy technology sector;

(d) Speaking in business events locally and globally and promote the unique advantages and opportunities of Hong Kong’s advanced manufacturing and new energy technology sector;

(e) Ensuring the Team provides quality and customised support services for prospective and aftercare companies in the advanced manufacturing and new energy technology sector;

(f) Managing the performance of the Team for target achievement as well as timely inputs to upper echelon;

(g) Supporting the directorate of Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises on duties and assignments as and when needed; and

(h) Conducting duty visits to the Mainland and overseas countries.

Terms of Appointment: The successful candidate will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 18 months or up to 31 March 2027, whichever is earlier.

Position Overview: As the Senior Manager of Portfolio Transformation Program within our APAC Regional MedTech Surgery Transformation PMO team for EndoMech and Energy, you will play a critical role in leading the evolution of our portfolio while shaping and executing our transformation strategy within a dynamic environment. Your leadership will influence cross-functional teams and guide strategic initiatives that align local market execution with global capabilities.

The Portfolio Transformation Senior Manager will lead and coordinate all strategic initiatives related to the EndoMech and Energy platform transformation and will be responsible for simplifying the way we work and streamlining our product portfolio. Key responsibilities include reducing portfolio complexity, driving improved efficiency, improved financial performance and unlocking opportunities for future growth for J&J MedTech.

The Portfolio Transformation Senior Manager will report to the AP MT Surgery APAC Transformation PMO Lead and will partner and collaborate closely with key regional, external, and functional stakeholders to establish robust analytics and governance.

  • Partner closely across product management, Global Strategic Marketing and LCM to understand portfolio transformation plan and drive implementation to ensure an efficient, productive and profitable product portfolio.
  • Builds and manages the end-to-end financial model for Margin improvement including Commercial metrics, SC metrics, and other Cost drivers in collaboration with Finance.
  • Drive pipeline prioritization and end-to-end, cross-functional resource alignment to realize both the short-term and long-term Platform goals. Develop and deliver project milestones and execute cost improvement projects for profitability.
  • Communicate timelines and progress across all functional partners and works closely with the LCM, Global, Regional and Local Marketing, Supply Chain, and all platforms to drive the project forward in a timely manner.
  • Manage expenses within budget.
  • Partner with Supply Chain ensuring a robust Integrated Business Planning process.
  • Create meaningful project, commercial tactic & financial metrics, track performance vs. plan.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team responsible for end-to-end project completion in the areas of EndoMech and Energy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Leadership of Commercial Portfolio/Life-cycle Strategy: Provide direct leadership to the marketing and functional partners, driving the development and execution of strategies that optimize market performance. This includes defining key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with global, regional and local objectives.
  • Market Strategy Development: Collaborate with regional and country leaders to develop and implement market transition strategies that reflect global portfolio optimization efforts tailored to local dynamics.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Partner with supply chain and commercial teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and effective capacity planning for product launches and portfolio transitions
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including supply chain, finance and regulatory teams, to facilitate code creation, product registration, and launch strategies
  • Communication Development: Synthesize data and insights into clear narratives for diverse audiences, including senior leaders and external stakeholders, to foster alignment and drive action
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Regularly review and update program documentation, providing regular updates to sponsors, and evaluating project impact against strategic objectives
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives that lead to improvements in execution capabilities across the portfolio, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions

Required Qualifications

Required Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, Science or related field required.
  • MBA is a plus.

Required Years Of Related Experience

  • 8+ years of progressive business experience in healthcare, with a strong background in marketing, sales, or project management.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Expert knowledge of MedTech Industry and Hospital Systems
  • Proven experience & ability in leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple stakeholders & priorities within a matrix organization.
  • People management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating a high degree of initiative and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in the EndoMech and/or Energy business is highly preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and a keen sense for prioritizing tasks and managing resources efficiently to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, coupled with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
  • Occasionally, this position will require non-traditional hours to support markets in different time zones

  • We are looking for REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (APAC) - with details as follows :

The Job

  • Report to Head of Sales
  • Function as an individual contributor to develop new sales opportunities in APAC region
  • To identify and develop sales opportunities for diesel/gas genset and renewable energy industries in APAC countries
  • To follow up inquiry, tender, including preparation of necessary quotation and tender submission
  • To provide technical advice and support for customer, consultant on the system design, pre-tender proposal
  • To promote company products, including sales, seminar, exhibition activities
  • To plan and achieve sales budget
  • Degree holder
  • 3+ years sales/business development experience preferably selling to the building & construction sector
  • Experience from sales and marketing in engineering field will also be suitable
  • Exposure to APAC market
  • Proficient in English and Chinese (mandarin)
  • Frequent business trips to APAC is required
  • 5 days work
