Assist in and contribute to the origination/ execution of project finance transactions (arranging & advisory) in the Energy & Infrastructure Group covering the Asia region, under the supervision of Head of EIG Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the origination of project finance and related transactions for Greenfield and brownfield projects in the key sectors of Power & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining and Infrastructure, including refinancing and acquisition transactions in the capacity of arranger and underwriter
  • Execute all aspects of said transactions, through negotiation of the term sheet, credit process, financial modelling, due diligence, documentation, through to Financial Close
  • Generate side business for other departments of Credit Agricole CIB where appropriate in relation to the projects followed, including forex and interest rate hedging, investment banking, trade finance, and DCM business
  • Play an active and prominent role in teams providing Financial Advisory to clients
  • Mentoring of the Analyst and Associate team, including in relation to the development of high level financial modelling capabilities
  • Assist in developing and maintaining new and existing client relationships, in order to support the team in growing business in the region, including preparation of marketing related material

Role Requirements

  • Minimum 5 year experience in executing Project finance transactions in the key sectors covered by EIG
  • The ideal candidate would bring good sector knowledge
  • A candidate with exposure to project finance transactions in the region and strong modelling skills will be considered favourably
  • Experience in project finance specially with knowledge of the sectors, power and utilities in particular
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance or relevant discipline.
  • Ability to deal with multi tasks and work within a dynamic and evolving environment
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Experience in dynamic sales environment with strong business development/sales skills
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Role requires some travel to visit clients in designated areas of responsibility

Deputy General Manager at Chimbusco Pan Nation Overview

The Quality Manager is responsible for supervising the entire quality process of products provided within bunker trading, and physical supply operations including cargo inspection (e.g., de-bunkering and blending), loading cargo, and delivery cargo. The role involves promoting quality enhancement across departments in collaboration. Additionally, the Quality Manager is expected to handle and resolve complex technical claims related to product quality and discrepancy of delivery quantities in cooperation with relevant departments, as well as participate in technical discussions with customers accompanied by the sales team.

The Quality Manager also serves as a liaison for testing companies and builds relationships with them. Furthermore, responsibilities include supporting departments on alternative fuel quality and technical matters and collecting and disseminating information on environmental regulations established by international and government organizations such as the IMO.

Responsibilities
  1. Product Quality Management:
    • Ensure consistent quality management and propose improvements across the supply chain, responding to any issues that arise.
    • Address issues and take preventive measures in case of specification problems.
    • Provide technical advice if needed for blending and comingling cargo.
  2. Customer Claims Support:
    • Support the sales team in addressing customer claims regarding quality and discrepancy of delivery quantities in collaboration with relevant departments.
    • Manage and analyze all claims, and report to management.
  3. Liaison with Laboratories:
    • Liaise with laboratories and develop relationships.
    • Be responsible for all the testing for physical operation.
    • Try to access comprehensive quality information and provide data and insights to internal teams whenever requested.
  4. Technical Support for Alternative Fuel:
    • Provide technical advice to departments regarding biofuels and methanol fuels.
  5. Customer Support:
    • Assist the sales team in delivering presentations and providing technical advice to customers.
    • Offer prompt and accurate support to the sales team in response to customer inquiries related to quality and technical matters.
  6. Training and Education:
    • Share information on industry trends with employees as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. Chemical-related qualifications are an advantage.
  • Experience in marine fuel quality analysis at a lab (minimum 5 years recommended).
  • Marine engineering experience on ocean-going vessels is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and other industry regulations.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese

Experience & Background

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Bachelor degree or above) in sustainability and climate transition, green and sustainable finance, carbon accounting for emission Scope 1, 2 and 3 (including Category 15 investment) and/or related disciplines such as green and sustainable finance, climate transition or decarbonization etc.
  • Familiar with the latest regulatory landscape and ESG trends in financial sectors, preferably with previous working experience or project experience with banking sectors, asset management and/or insurance sectors
  • Hands-on working experiences in financed emission assessment with reference to PCAF Standard and GHG Protocol for loan or investment portfolio, and bonus if have previously experience in decarbonisation target and transition roadmap setting for financial sectors
  • Preferably for candidates who has received the qualification of CFA Sustainable Investing Certificate, GARP Sustainability & Climate Risk Certificate (SCR), and CESGA ESG Analyst
  • Ability to think critically and take a challenging yet constructive approach
  • Ability to work at pace, and at times under high pressure, while maintaining sound judgment

Facility Manager (Data Center, Client side, Energy)

We're seeking an exceptional leader to oversee our client's data center mechanical infrastructure:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct a specialized team of mechanical engineers focusing on HVAC, fire suppression, and plumbing systems
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across mechanical engineering functions
  • Deliver expert technical guidance for data center mechanical systems
  • Conduct comprehensive performance analytics to predict and prevent system failures
  • Optimize critical component capacity for enhanced efficiency
  • Evaluate mechanical engineering change requests to maintain uninterrupted data center operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of infrastructure operations experience, including 7 years in mission-critical facilities
  • Service provider industry experience (preferred)
  • Professional/Chartered Engineer certification (desired)
  • REW A0/B0 or equivalent qualification (advantageous)
  • ISO 50001/45001 Internal Audit experience (beneficial)
  • Excellent communication and independent problem-solving abilities
