Overview

How you will make an impact:

Team Leadership & Management:

• Lead, supervise, and mentor on-site security teams across multiple locations.
• Drive team establishment, including recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new security personnel.
• Optimize and coordinate manpower deployment and resources across various sites to ensure adequate coverage and response capabilities.

Security Strategy & Policy:

• Develop, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and site vulnerability analyses to proactively identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Manage the security budget, including the procurement of equipment and services, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Operations & Incident Management:

• Oversee and monitor security systems, including video surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.
• Lead investigations into security incidents, complaints, breaches, or acts of misconduct; determine root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and maintain detailed emergency response and business continuity plans for various scenarios (e.g., natural disasters, security threats).

Stakeholder Engagement & Training:

• Serve as the primary liaison with local law enforcement and emergency services agencies.
• Design and deliver regular security awareness training programs to empower employees to recognize and report security concerns.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on security performance, incidents, and audit findings to management.

Compliance & Audit:

• Conduct regular security audits and inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of all security measures and ensure compliance with established policies.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in security, property management, or a customer-facing service industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Previous experience in a disciplinary force (e.g., police, military, corrections) is a significant advantage.
• Non-degree holders with substantial, proven experience and a practical, logical approach to problem-solving will be considered.
• Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, risk assessment, and people management.
• Ability to work independently with strong leadership, discipline, and exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Strong computer skills, including fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to work under pressure and required to work on Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday.

The campus security manager (CSM) leads a team of site security personnel, including site managers and security officers and is accountable for delivery of physical security related services at one or more assigned datacenters in a geographic area. The CSM is responsible for the leadership development of the people that report to them, while also accountable for security operations delivery at these datacenters. The CSM partners with Security and Datacenter Operations senior leadership and management teams to help drive operational effectiveness, superior performance, and audit readiness. Responsible for preserving an environment where people and property are safe and well-protected, the CSM utilizes their professional experience to manage people with varying skillsets and develops effective strategies to drive improvement.

The CSM reports directly to the Regional Security Manager (RSM), works alongside other site security managers in their metro area, and manages the Security Team Managers (STM).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Manages physical security operations at multiple critical infrastructure facilities.
2. Drives safety programming for the security team with a goal of zero workplace injuries onsite.
3. Actively manages site security personnel; partners with the local branch to recruit and hire, oversee onboarding, training, and development at the sites.
4. Ensures each staff member is treated with dignity and respect.
5. Plans, assigns, and manages physical security projects and tasks to timely completion.
6. Coaches security employees and carries out disciplinary actions in accordance with current policy.
7. Evaluates the effectiveness of site security operations and provides recommendations for improvement.
8. Utilizes excellent customer service and communication skills, sets the example and holds site security staff accountable to do the same.
9. Ensures site health and key performance indicator goals are met or exceeded; works with the regional security manager (RSM) to enhance security team effectiveness and performance.
10. Meets regularly with the client and Securitas corporate management representatives for account reviews, addresses issues in a timely manner, and supports security planning, assessments, and surveys.
11. Keeps management informed of major accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
12. Follows standardized procedures to successfully complete unannounced audits.
13. Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a safe and secure environment.
14. Splits time equally between sites, building familiarity with each location, leading the team, building the program, and coaching for success.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the security industry
• 3+ years of management experience
• Associate degree in Security Management, Business Management, or a related field
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience working in a datacenter environment a plus
• Working knowledge and experience with various security technologies including CCTV, access control systems, incident management software, and other video surveillance software
• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Management, or a related field
• Able to travel (international or domestic, as required) approximately 10% of the time or more, occasionally with limited notice.
• Able to work evening or weekend hours when required, such as during an emergency event or crisis.

Responsibilities

Assistant Security Manager will report to Senior Manager, Security Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for the Intelligence, Crime and investigation and providing dedicated and professional security operations of the Department. He/she will be responsible to carry out investigations which cover the abilities to keep proper records of investigative activities according to the organisation's policies, procedures an guidelines. Besides, the incumbent will work with government and related agencies regarding investigations and develop the action plan for an investigation. Requirements

• Form 5 or above, degree holder preferably in facilities or risk & security management (holder of a Professional Security Certificate has an advantage)

• Familiar with local laws, policies, procedures and guidelines for investigations
• Computer literacy in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Possession of valid Security Personnel Permit Category A and B
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, conversational Putonghua is an advantage;

The incumbent will be responsible for managing the entire Park's security force.
