Day-to-day Duties
- Provide inpatient and emergency care to hospital patients, assisting with incoming emergencies and be responsible for case handovers each day.
- Assist veterinarians with complex surgeries, consultations, diagnostic imaging, and other procedures.
- Cantonese speaking assistants will take care of translation.
- A minimum of 3 years of veterinary nursing experience.
- Previous emergency and critical care experience will be an advantage but not essential.
- Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, team player and good team spirit.
Full time: 4-night work week, 12 hours per shift with 1-hour break.

The JobYou will:
- Provide assistance to senior colleagues:
- in the administration of daily treatments during routine stable rounds.
- in the performance of diagnostic procedures such as airway endoscopy, gastroscopy, radiography, ultrasonography, MRI, and nuclear scintigraphy.
- during pre- and post-race veterinary examinations and race day operations.
- by supporting general veterinary-related services such as accompanying airport convoys and convoys between Hong Kong and Conghua.
- Perform general anaesthesia and assist with elective and emergency surgeries.
- Manage and treat hospitalized patients.
You should have:
- A degree recognized by the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong.
- Some experience in equine practice and demonstrate competence in core clinical skills.
- Enthusiasm and motivation to learn.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
