You will:

• Provide assistance to senior colleagues:
• in the administration of daily treatments during routine stable rounds.
• in the performance of diagnostic procedures such as airway endoscopy, gastroscopy, radiography, ultrasonography, MRI, and nuclear scintigraphy.
• during pre- and post-race veterinary examinations and race day operations.
• by supporting general veterinary-related services such as accompanying airport convoys and convoys between Hong Kong and Conghua.
• Perform general anaesthesia and assist with elective and emergency surgeries.
• Manage and treat hospitalized patients.

You should have:

• A degree recognized by the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong.
• Some experience in equine practice and demonstrate competence in core clinical skills.
• Enthusiasm and motivation to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.

• Provide inpatient and emergency care to hospital patients, assisting with incoming emergencies and be responsible for case handovers each day.
• Assist veterinarians with complex surgeries, consultations, diagnostic imaging, and other procedures.
• Cantonese speaking assistants will take care of translation.
  

• A minimum of 3 years of veterinary nursing experience.
• Previous emergency and critical care experience will be an advantage but not essential.
• Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, team player and good team spirit.
