Responsibilities
- Maintain records (physical and digital) and ledgers according to Church and statutory requirement

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- A minimum of 4 years of professional accounting experience. Candidates with less experience will also be considered.
- Required languages: Proficiency in English (An understanding of Urdu is preferred)
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles preferred
- Under the direction of the Manager, be able to train and explain the approved Church financial policies, procedures, and the principles in the Church’s General Handbook of Instructions
- Good communication skills (writing and speaking)
- Very skilled using Microsoft Office Suite of applications, PCs, and networks
- Schedules and deadlines are expected to be met, and proficiency is demonstrated on required accounting systems

- To assist in payroll processing including salary and allowances payments, and provident fund contributions
- To keep proper and accurate payroll accounting records
- To prepare tax returns to the Inland Revenue Department
- To prepare reports and analysis related to staff costs
- To process payments and other financial transactions, and ensure that they are properly supported, authorised and processed in accordance with URA’s policies and procedures
- To assist in document management and perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or related disciplines with minimum 1 year of relevant experience;
- OR Higher Diploma/Associate Degree holder with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Sound knowledge of relevant provisions in the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance, Employment Ordinance and Inland Revenue Ordinance
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in financial management and payroll systems, e.g. Workday and MRC
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
