We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Senior Manager, Future Design Machine Learning and AI Standards Lead** .
**In this role you will:**
+ Own the overall roadmap for the introduction of new technologies into the FC organization. The technologies include but are not limited to Machine Learning, Generative AI (multi vendor), Blockchain and any future developments from the technology industry.Ensure that new technologies are implemented safely in the Fin Crime department taking into account data security and full traceability of outcomes delivered using these 'black box' type solutions.
+ Work across the Bank and central teams to incorporate best practices and standards from these areas into the FC usage of these technologies. Ensuring that appropriate standards are set for all new production solutions utilizing these types of technologies.Work alongside technology teams to generate Proofs of Concept which generate business value and can be taken through to full solution delivery.Ensure that the value stream adheres to relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
+ Put effective change control in place and maintain a catalogue of the various AI/ML/BC initiatives.Ensure a proactive approach is taken to the identification of any changes in the FC risk profile and potential impact to the control framework.Assist drive, develop and implement programmes to quantify impacts and implement actions to address, manage and mitigate impacts of FC related regulatory changes across the FC control framewor.As required by leadership, attend and represent FC in governance forums and meetings
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across Global functions, Global businesses, Digital Business Services (DBS), Regions, Countries and Markets.Develop and maintain a strong and professional working relationship with Senior Management of FC, Risk, Audit and Finance at Business, Group and Regional levels.Liaise with relevant stakeholders to provide expertise and support on all FC related matters.Ensure appropriate timely and relevant risk information is provided to FC leadership and appropriate governance for.Support the sharing of developments and best practice across the wider FC Function
+ Resolve any / all identified issues promptly and escalate concerns to management as appropriate to ensure timely awareness of any material concerns.Maintain and observe all HSBC control standards and implement relevant policies, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal / external auditors and external regulators.Maintain awareness of operational risk within the value stream and minimise the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting.Establish manual and automated technical processes to ensure and evidence rigorous adherence to Group policies and management of operational risk.Develop and present options to implement controls whilst retaining full benefit from investment in systems.Maintain sound understanding of key threats and system vulnerabilities and engage proactively with risk stewards to mitigate the impact of compromise
+ Support deliver the value stream approach aligned to investigation and detection outcomes to deliver a seamless integration of cross-functional expertise.Maintain and develop positive and professional working relationships with senior business leaders, Risk and Compliance colleagues at Group, Regional and Market / Entity level
