The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, is looking for a dynamic and high-caliber professional to join our Finance & Accounts Department.
Responsibilities:- Support the Procurement Section on purchasing related matters
- Provide administrative support to internal buyers on reviewing tender documents including specifications and bidder list
- Monitor the compliance of procurement activities and provide guidance to internal user departments according to guidelines and procedures
- Support and maintain the Approved Supplier List
- Liaise and facilitate the Tender Board Meeting, including preparing necessary documents such as price analysis and tender submission summaries
- Review contracts/agreements for awarded tenders with terms and conditions
- Prepare procurement training materials, analysis, and reports for management review
- Maintain the Procurement Webpage
- Perform any ad hoc projects as assigned
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Purchasing, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in sizable organizations; NGO/public sector experience is an advantage
- Proactive, self-motivated, and independent
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Office applications
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive package including annual leave, medical, and dental benefits will be offered.

Role Description

- Product innovation: assisting in design and procurement of new sustainabe products working with existing and new suppliers and negotiating favourable pricing terms.
- Quality control: ensuring our products maintain best in class sustainable materials, managing product testing and certifiactions.
- Financial Managemnet: issuing monthly customer account statements requesting timely payments of invoices.
- Inventory Oversight: Managing inventory levels, samples stock and re-ordering of products to ensure timely restocking and deliveries.
Qualifications/experience:
We are looking for a motivated, positive, team player with a "can do' attitude and a keen interest in sustainability:
- Experience: 2+ years experience with procurement, logistics and supply chainwould be preferred, ideally in a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience in opertations and account management would be beneficial.
- Analytical skills: Very strong organisational skills, proficiency working with numbers and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- Team player: Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Self-motivated: positive, hard working, self-motivated and comfortable managing workload independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Communication / Languages: E xcellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Languages: Fluent / business level in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- IT/Technical: Proficiency in using Google Suite, Excel/Sheets, Word. Experience with. Xero, Hubspot and Trello a bonus.
- Education: Tertiary education is preferable but not essential.

Required Skills:

JOB SUMMARY:
A reputable fashion & apparel company is seeking a supply planner to join their team. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, assistant in forecasts, and ensuring timely delivery of products. You will collaborate with various teams to maintain efficient supply chain processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain order accuracy in inventory systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product availability.
- Analyse demand and supply to maximize sales opportunities.
- Manage the entire product flow from order to delivery.
- Coordinate quick replenishments and track key performance indicators related to supply planning.
- Work with inventory teams to minimize excess stock and optimize levels.
- Support the logistics process to align with product launches and business goals.
- Handle monthly reporting and participate in quality issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply planning or inventory management, preferably in the apparel industry.
- Proficiency in supply chain software, including Logility and SAP.
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
