The Role
As an Associate, you will play an integral role in driving our business growth by engaging with both clients and candidates across the APAC region, including Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Southeast Asia, ANZ, and Mainland China.
You will actively participate in client briefings, contribute to long- and short-listing, conduct market research, source and assess talent, attend candidate interviews and client meetings, build networks with industry professionals, map target companies, and develop a strong understanding of our clients’ operating environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Partners/Consultants to design and implement search strategies, supporting the full process from pitch through to candidate development.
- Conduct research to identify and evaluate potential candidates using online tools, social media, phone outreach, publications, and other resources.
- Contribute to kick-off meetings, suggest target companies or candidate pools, and participate in client briefings and meetings.
- Build a deep understanding of each search mandate and client needs to establish credibility and trust with colleagues and clients.

**Qualifications**
**Mandatory Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with 5+ years of technical recruitment experience, including at least 2 years focused on recruiting for technical roles in **fintech, cryptocurrency, blockchain, or traditional quantitative trading/investment banking**.
- Strong interest and basic understanding of blockchain technology (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, smart contracts, consensus mechanisms) and financial business (e.g., trading, clearing, risk management, asset management), with the ability to engage in in-depth conversations with technical candidates.
- Exceptional candidate sourcing abilities, with a rich network of mid-to-senior talent in the fintech or blockchain space.

The Opportunity

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of recruitment experience acquired either in-house or in a search environment, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple recruitment projects in engineering consulting, construction or a related industry. Proficient in handling senior stakeholders.
- Time management skills combined with the ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. The ability to deliver results and meet deadlines is critical.

The Head of Agency Recruitment will spearhead all strategic and operational initiatives for agency recruitment, ensuring the company attracts, selects, and retains top talent to build a high-performing, growth-oriented agency force. This role will design best-in-class recruitment strategies, build talent pipelines, partner with business leaders, and drive metrics-based outcomes to help achieve market leadership in Hong Kong’s competitive insurance landscape.
What the role is?
- Develop and implement the agency recruitment strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a thought leader for recruitment excellence and process innovation.
- Lead, coach, and develop the recruitment team to deliver high performance.
Agency Recruitment & Selection
- Drive end-to-end recruitment activities: planning, sourcing, assessment, and onboarding.
- Establish robust talent pipelines using both digital and traditional channels.
- Oversee candidate experience, ensuring professionalism and alignment to company values.
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with agency leaders and business heads to understand their current and future manpower needs.
- Engage with educational institutions, professional bodies, and industry partners to promote the company as an employer of choice.
Marketing & Brand Building
- Partner with branding and marketing to craft effective recruitment campaigns and manage employer branding initiatives specific to agency recruitment.
- Represent the company at recruitment fairs and industry events.

- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Compliance & Best Practice

What we look for?
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business-related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in agency recruitment within insurance/financial services.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the Hong Kong insurance market and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset, results-driven, and adaptable in a fast-changing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with recruitment technology and digital tools.
- Agile, ability to think innovatively and find creative solutions, with a proactive problem-solving approach
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).
