Our client is large scale technology company that has a growing portfolio of subsidiaries in Hong Kong and China. With an enviable record of success, they are now further expanding their technology team and looking for a Senior Cloud Architect.
About the Role
Reporting to the department head, you will shape and implement cloud strategies aligned with organizational goals, collaborating with end users as well as infrastructure and operations teams to advance cloud adoption. You will partner with application teams to design and deliver architecture‑compliant solutions tailored to specific business use cases using cutting‑edge cloud technologies, fostering innovation and adherence to best practices. You will champion cultural change and promote cloud adoption best practices across the organization, developing and maintaining cloud design patterns and standardized deployment blueprints for AWS, GCP, and Azure. Working with the enterprise architecture team, you will ensure governance and compliance for cloud‑based applications. You will lead a small team to create and refine technical patterns that standardize GCP service deployments.
The Successful Applicants
- Bachelor's degree required; Computer Science Engineering, or related discipline
- A minimum of 6+ years of experience required with multiple years of experience working across large, complex organisations to define the Enterprise Architecture
- Previous experience with public cloud architecture, Cloud strategy etc (Azure Cloud/AWS Cloud/Alicloud/Google)
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across business units
- Proven ability to engage and empower cross-functional architectural teams.
- Solid understanding of security frameworks, including knowledge of CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP tools, cloud IAM, and native security features for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting production environments within AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
- Good command in Chinese and English

Job Responsibilities
- Establish and strengthen the relationships with high-net-worth customers, identify and fulfil their investment needs by providing thorough financial analysis;
- Initiate and implement strategies to promote a full range of retail banking products through a proactive and professional approach in achieving the business sales targets of the bank.
- Bachelor’s degree or above Business or related disciplines;
- At least 2 years of sales experience in consumer banking field
- Sound knowledge towards investment market and various banking products;

Team Structure
- Reports to the Accounting Manager
- Member of a 3-person Accounting Team
- Participate in handling full set of accounts
- Support the preparation of financial reports
- Maintain and update finance department records and reports
- Execute daily transfers and payments for company operations and client funds
- Handle bank-related matters including account maintenance and transactions
- Process client withdrawals and fund transfers to brokers
- Manage staff reimbursement claims and daily expense tracking
- Issue debit notes based on front desk instructions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Perform other ad hoc assignments as needed
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing for SFC-licensed corporations (Type 1, 4, 9)
- Familiarity with Hong Kong accounting standards, taxation, and SFC regulations

We are seeking a distinguished professional to enhance their Governance Advisory team at a Director level, focusing specifically on Financial Services regulations.
This pivotal role involves providing expert guidance to their diverse client base within the financial services sector, navigating the intricate landscape of regulatory compliance. You will be instrumental in shaping strategies, offering profound insights, and delivering solutions that ensure robust governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary subject matter expert, offering authoritative advice on Financial Services regulations, particularly those established by the HKMA, SFC, or HK Insurance Authority. Your nuanced understanding and insights will be highly valued.
- Lead and deliver complex advisory engagements, guiding clients through regulatory change, compliance enhancements, and sophisticated risk mitigation strategies.
- Cultivate and nurture strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, understanding their unique challenges and proactively identifying opportunities to deliver impactful value.
- Contribute significantly to the firm's thought leadership, developing innovative approaches, and sharing your profound expertise internally and externally through various platforms.
- Foster the growth and development of team members, providing mentorship, constructive feedback, and guidance to cultivate their capabilities and careers.
- Drive business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposals that reflect the firm's comprehensive capabilities and client-centric approach.
- A true subject matter expert in Financial Services regulations, possessing significant depth and authoritative knowledge in one or more areas governed by the HKMA, SFC, or HK Insurance Authority.
- Demonstrated recent experience (within the last 5 years) in a consultancy capacity, consistently advising financial services clients on complex governance, risk, and regulatory matters. This hands-on advisory background is essential.
- Exceptional communication and articulation skills in English, enabling clear, persuasive interactions with senior stakeholders and the ability to convey intricate regulatory concepts with precision and clarity.
- A strategic and empathetic approach, with a proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative spirit and building lasting client partnerships.
- A comprehensive understanding of Hong Kong's financial regulatory landscape and its practical impact on various financial institutions.

Responsibilities include:
- Conducting Customer Due Diligence (CDD) for onboarding, periodic review, and trigger event review.
- Identifying and verifying KYC documents and customer data.
- Engaging with customers to obtain incomplete CDD information and documentation within service levels.
- Ensuring compliance with government regulations and internal policies.
- Assisting in AML/CFT training preparations.
- Implementing and completing work/projects assigned by managers.
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Relevant qualifications such as CAMS or AAMLP Core Level are advantageous.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Banking, Finance, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese; Mandarin is a plus.
- Self-motivated, independent worker, willing to face challenges.
- Immediate availability is highly preferred.
