Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and development on visual multimodal algorithms, including VLM, OCR, detection, segmentation, recognition, generation, and authenticity verification, with a focus on financial and real-world applications.

Requirements:

• Strong interest and hands-on experience in data processing, distributed big data analysis, and data engineering; proficient programming skills are required.
• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), and especially generative algorithms; fluent in English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
• Publications in top-tier AI conferences or journals (CVPR, AAAI, ICML, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ACL, etc.) are preferred.
• Industry internship or work experience at leading technology companies is a plus.
• Experience with financial technology applications, document understanding systems, or real-world deployment of AI solutions is desirable.

Responsibilities
The appointees will be expected to assist in various research projects on AI for Healthcare. Topics include automatic generation of medical reports, patient motion analysis, and treatment effect estimation. The exact project to work on depends on the appointee's experience.

Requirements
Applicants for the Postdoctoral post should have a PhD degree in areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision or other related disciplines, and must have no more than three years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.

Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have an honors degree or above in one of the aforementioned or other related disciplines.

3. designing and developing language model-based systems for assisting annotators in annotating lupus-related clinical features;
4. working with electronic health records (EHRs) and other clinical documents to extract meaningful information from unstructured text (e.g. clinical notes, discharge summaries);
5. implementing, evaluating and deploying NLP-based scoring systems for real-world clinical notes for the lupus disease;
6. prompting and training large language models (LLMs) through supervised fine-tuning or reinforcement learning techniques;
7. preparing project plans, IRB applications, and supporting documentations;
8. coordinating team communication, organizing meetings, and recruiting and managing annotators; and
