Major Duties And Responsibilities
The appointees will mainly assist art-based creation projects. The appointees will mainly be responsible for the following:
- Participating in concept and art direction development for animations and key assets;
- Developing storyboards for the initial stages of production;
- Creating models, drawings and illustrations by hand or electronically;
- Making 2D/3D animations; and
- Comprehending and executing direction from the project supervisor.
Candidates Should Possess The Following Qualifications, Experience And Attributes
- A recognized Bachelor's degree in Creative Media, Animation, or a related discipline;
- Strong knowledge of 2D/3D animation production;
- Good 2D/3D-related artistic and visual design principles and techniques;
- Proficient in CGI software;
- Detail-oriented, hardworking, responsible, self-motivated, able to meet deadlines and work independently; and
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Payment will be made on hourly basis. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.

The Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM) is a dedicated museum that showcases the exquisite artefacts from Palace Museum’s collections and collaborates with other museums in research, exhibitions, education and public programmes. The museum comprises 7,800 square metres of gallery space for standing and special exhibitions on Palace Museum’s collections of paintings, calligraphy, antiquities and historical objects, as well as thematic displays on world cultures and civilisations.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the conservation and collection management team to meet the highest possible standards in preventative and remedial conservation and collection care in support of the museum’s ambitious exhibition and collection building projects.
- Supervising and performing conservation work, including examination, conservation assessment, research, treatment, and documentation of objects as well as preparation of objects for exhibition, and ensuring gallery and storage environment is well maintained for the objects.
- Taking the lead in exhibition-related conservation work, such as condition report and courier trip; advising on climate control, packing materials and methods, display duration and methods, mount-making, framing and matting, and issues related to display cases.
- Developing and regularly reviewing guidelines, policies, standards, and procedures for the conservation and care of the museum’s collections as well as incoming and outgoing loans; collaborating with relevant teams to develop emergency plans and disaster preparedness protocols.
- Providing input on the design of the new conservation spaces and leading the building of conservation and storage facilities in the new museum building, including the research and procurement of special furniture and equipment for conservation, and collection care and storage.
- Developing conservation and collection management budget and monitoring expenditures.
- Working collaboratively with curators, registrars, exhibition managers, designers, security and safety officers, facility managers, and external stakeholders to ensure the proper care of the museum’s collection, loans, and the safety of the museum environment.
- Taking an active role in the building and training of the HKPM conservation and collection management team (including staff and interns); providing advice and necessary training to curators, and other HKPM staff; developing collaborative relationships with the teams within HKPM, the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, and outside service providers and users.
- Playing a leading role in advocating for the development of the conservation and collection management profession in Hong Kong and the region and proactively representing the HKPM in local, regional and international conservation forums.
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor when deemed necessary.
You should:
- Possess a master’s Degree in Conservation from a recognized college or university, or a certificate from a recognized Conservation Training Programme.
- Possess at least 8 years of verifiable museum conservation experience (or equivalent) beyond the degree or certificate, preferably in a role of supervisor or trainer for at least 2 years.
- Possess a broad range of expert knowledge of and hands-on experience with the techniques, materials, and equipment used in the conservation and scientific research of museum and art objects. Conservation experience with Chinese art or antiquities is preferred.
- Have knowledge of the procedures and best practices relating to the examination and preventative and remedial conservation of museum art objects; the environmental and handling requirements for storage, exhibition and travel of objects.
- Extensive experience with exhibition-related conservation matters.
- Have a proven track record of professional accomplishments in the field of conservation and collection care and management that may include publication, conference papers, and research projects.
- Have a good understanding of museum collection management, and possess proficiency in software, such as Collection Management System, The Museum System (TMS), and Microsoft Office.
- Have the ability to manage risks and evaluate potential solutions to problems and adopt effective courses of action.
- Be a strong team player with excellent leadership, organizational, and diplomatic/negotiation skills, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, as well as the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
- Have a local and international network in the field of conservation and scientific research. Experience with Hong Kong and/or Mainland Chinese institutions and collections is a plus.
- Possess good communication skills and proficiency in English. Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Putonghua is a plus.

An experienced and skilled individual is required to take the lead on collections storage and collections-based exhibitions at M+. Reporting to the Manager, Installations and Displays, and working closely with the Collections Registration department, the appointee will lead teams of art technicians and external contractors to ensure safe handling, and installation as well ensuring the highest standards in museum grade packing, transport, and storage of works of art for M+.
The ideal candidate should possess a passion for visual culture and demonstrated experience handling and installing complex objects and art in a museum environment, primarily in collection storage areas as well as on gallery. The individual should demonstrate leadership qualities with excellent communication and a collaborative approach; be highly organized and motivated to work within a team and encourage growth and development across our collections and exhibitions.
You Will Be Responsible For
- supervising and leading teams of art technicians and external contractors on packing/unpacking, transporting, and storing artworks across M+ sites as well as external storage facilities to international Museum best practice standards;
- responsible for the safe handling of a variety of works of art and objects and installing them to museum standard;
- adhering to the principles and practices of Safety Health and Environment practices in accordance with the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority policies;
- operating the fork-lifts, scissor lifts and Mobile Elevating work platforms other tools and equipment necessary to carry out duties;
- supporting and carrying out risk assessments and reviewing of safe working methods in relation to storage practices; container loading, workshop, heavy equipment operation and installation;
- be a diplomatic team-oriented approach aiding Installations and Displays staff at all levels as well as working cross departmentally both in a leadership role as well as a hands-on practical role with regards to art handling, planning, and installation;
- inspecting works of art prior to handling and reporting of any damage to the Manager, Installations and Displays, the Registrar and the relevant Conservator;
- keeping up to date with international museum best practice methods and procedures for art handling and implementing them especially regarding long term storage of museum objects;
- ensuring equipment is maintained in a serviceable order and conducting regular inventories of tools and materials, reporting any equipment problems or supply requirements to the Manager, Installations and Displays;
- ensuring that the handling of records and information management are done according to the Collection Management policy and procedures; and
- contributing to training of junior staff in line with international museum standards in collections care and display.
- possess at least 5 subjects at Level 2 / Grade E or above in the HKDSEE / HKCEE or equivalent academic qualification and have at least 6 years of relevant working experience in museum, gallery, or fine arts logistics company as a technician or art handler; OR possess a recognized Advanced Diploma or bachelor’s in fine arts or equivalent technical qualification from a recognized tertiary institution with a minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience in a museum or gallery;
- have proven experience and excellent expertise in the technical methods of handling, packing/unpacking, moving, transporting, and storing irreplaceable museum objects of all mediums to international conservation best practice standards;
- possess demonstrable experience and ability to safely operate heavy lifting machinery, Pest management equipment, elevated work platforms, and other tools and equipment specific to a required task;
- demonstrate a flexible approach to meeting changing priorities and demands, be able to remain calm under pressure;
- have strong organisational and problem-solving skills, be patient and detail oriented;
- be able to collaborate with others effectively in a diversified team and culture;
- have good computer skills including Microsoft Office preferably with good knowledge of computerised collection management database;
- able to read and understand design drawings building plans, racking, and crating designs;
- have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and preferably in Chinese;
- have a clear understanding of health and safety concerns with regards to art handling and experience with project planning and risk assessments regarding health and safety;
- have experience with racking, foam cut outs, archival box making, crating and other conservation grade packing solutions for long term storage; and
- have experience handling, installing, and applying packing solutions for large or complex artworks: heavy sculptures, installation art, oversize paintings AV and new media artwork.

The Job
You will:
- Take pictures of horses, people and events in race courses and stay at designated locations for photoshoots as per job assignment.
- Edit and retouch images using phto-enhancing software.
- Perform duty in night race, Saturday day race and Sunday race day as per roster arrangement.
You should have
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in photography especially horse racing photography and / or sports photography.
- Tertiary education background is a plus
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.

At DataForce by Transperfect, we are looking for participants to participate in an exciting Clary image collection project.
What’s the Project About?
The purpose of the project will be to select and prepare dishes of your choice, capturing clear photos throughout the process – from measuring ingredients to the finished meal. Following our task guidelines, you will share both the photos and the relevant cooking details with us.
Our goal is to provide high-quality data to improve future artificial intelligence technology!
Who Can Participate?
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Reside in Hong Kong.
- Have a smartphone with a model released in 2018 or later, equipped with a functional camera.
- Have a food weighing scale.
- Have a few AA Batteries at hand (will be used as a size reference).
- Working proficiency in English
Project Duration
The project will run for six weeks from July 16th, 2025 to September 11th, 2025 .
Compensation
You will receive $15 USD per accepted set of photos for each dish.

Through innovative storytelling and a culture of collaboration, Hong Kong Disneyland’s Entertainment team manages and leads the creation, production, and delivery of remarkable and engaging entertainment experiences. The Technical Manager guides and manages technical production efforts for the development and sustainment of live entertainment project, shows and product offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and guide technical project coordination and planning, providing essential support to the Technical Director.
- Lead the creation of detailed schedules and manage resources to ensure projects stay on track and meet deadlines.
- Guide communication between technical disciplines, including audio, visual, lighting, and show control, to manage cohesive project execution.
- Manage collaboration with the Facility Service team to ensure all technical systems align with venue infrastructure and operational requirements.
- Lead efforts to integrate technical solutions that enhance storytelling and audience engagement in partnership with the creative team.
- Oversee and manage technical budgets, ensuring expenses remain within allocated resources and proactively addressing discrepancies.
- Lead and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, overseeing equipment procurement, delivery, and installation.
- Guide the development and submission of all required safety documents in collaboration with the Design Hazards and Hazards Analysis (DAHA) team.
- Manage and maintain all technical documentation, inventory tracking, and project milestone reports to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, swiftly resolving technical issues during production setup and live performances to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure adherence to Disney’s safety protocols and compliance standards throughout all technical operations and installations.
- High Diploma holder or above in Technical Theatre, Engineering or equivalent with focus on technical design, construction, or production/technical management
- 8 years of experience in an entertainment technical environment, preferably with 5 years management experience in one of the following disciplines: Audio, Lighting, Video, Rigging, Scenic-construction, Show-control
- Proficiency in computer skills (e.g. Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint, AutoCAD/SketchUp etc.)
- Fluent spoken and written skills in English and Chinese
