This role will be as a senior member of the marketing function, based in Hong Kong, responsible for implementation of the marketing plan to support mainly the Asia business, with a focus on Greater China. The position will primarily be responsible for initiatives to raise brand awareness across channels, sponsorships, client communications and client events, in alignment with brand guidelines & policy and to support business objectives. The role will collaborate closely with colleagues in the Asia marketing team, front business, brand & communications and global products & services.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Responsible for implementing the marketing plan, including brand development across channels, sponsorships, client communications, prospecting and client events, with a focus on Greater China
- Support development and implementation of a distinct marketing proposition for the UHNW segment
- Proactively identify new opportunities, partners and initiatives to promote the bank and surpass client experience
- Plan and manage the assigned marketing budgets, including accountability and reporting on them
- Ensure compliance and application of policy, guidelines and procedures relating to marketing activities eg brand, sponsorships etc
- As a senior marketing specialist, proactively partner, advise and manage key stakeholders particularly in the front business
- Support Head Marketing Asia Pacific in developing the marketing strategy as well as manage assigned projects for the region, aligned with business strategy

- Excellent English and Chinese language written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on delivery with a strategic and open mind set

As our Sales footprint expands across North Asia we're looking for a Field Marketing Specialist to drive the execution of our client engagement events in Hong Kong. This role will report into our APAC Marketing Lead based in Sydney so will need to be able to operate with a degree of autonomy.
What You'll Be Doing
- Event Support:
- Owning the planning, promotion, and execution of regional customer events, and working with the Regional Marketing Lead to manage deliverables for relevant trade shows and conferences in the region.
- Coordinate logistics, working with local vendors and partners to prepare and manage all event deliverables to ensure successful event execution.
- Conduct post-event analysis to assess effectiveness and gather insights for ROI tracking and improvement
- Own and manage part of the regional marketing budget pertaining to events, including tracking expenditures and assessing the cost-effectiveness of marketing activities, adjusting plans as needed to stay within budget.
- Content and Communications Support:
- Support the Regional Marketing Lead and working with local agencies in developing and localising content such as articles, press releases, social media posts, and marketing collateral to reflect the unique capabilities and offerings in APAC.
- Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to adapt engaging, market-specific content and initiatives that aligns with brand standards whilst optimising campaigns.
- Assisting with award submissions, providing supporting documentation and coordinating with relevant departments for high-impact entries.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for local and regional campaigns, reporting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Marketing Strategy and Opportunity Identification:
- Collaborate with the Regional Marketing Lead to develop strategic marketing plans that align with APAC growth goals with a focus on Hong Kong.
- Analysing marketing data and trends in the APAC region to identify new opportunities for brand positioning, customer engagement, and lead generation with a focus on Hong Kong.
- Recommend new channels, partnerships, and tools to enhance the effectiveness of regional marketing campaigns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Business level Traditional Chinese language skills3-5 years of marketing experience, ideally within the APAC region.
- Proven experience in event coordination and content development.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks across various markets.
- Experience with budget management and maximising ROI for marketing activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative approach to messaging and content.

A Brief Overview
This role is to support the Business Development team on client engagement and marketing strategy. To prepare, plan and execute marketing activities and client engagement activities, under guidance from Head of Business Development and Research & Marketing Lead.
What You Will Do
- Event Execution Assists with the planning and managing end-to-end execution and logistics of RGA events and industry conference programs with direction from Head of Business Development and/or Research & Marketing lead. Responsibilities include but not limited to, clients gifts sourcing and ordering, design and delivery of meeting materials, signage and promotional items; completing conference sponsorship and registration documentation, coordinating client meetings, assisting RGA speakers with presentation and audio-visual needs, and other duties as needed or assigned.
- Content Generation Assist in content generation and the preparation of customized presentations and marketing materials for clients. Coordinates general marketing efforts for the local office, including but not limited to produce market-relevant, attractive, and timely content for newsletters and other marketing materials with guidance from Research & Marketing lead.
- Communication coordination You will take an active participation in the management, edition and coordination of the mass communications sent to clients (RGA events, webinars, press releases, etc), along with social media used by business development with the guidance from Research and Marketing lead. Also assist in managing the RGA HK Marketing email account; ensure accurate target audience lists for client newsletters, webinars and regularly reviewing CRM records.
- Administrative support for marketing and client activities Provide administrative support to the Head of Business Development. You will ensure that the logistics of client activities and meetings are made in accordance with expectations and assist in the management of the agendas. Issue visit reports for CRM. Extend administrative support and coordinate meetings to other requisite leaders on request.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a related field required
- 2+ Years experience business development and/or marketing required
- 2+ Years experience in the financial services industry required
- Intermediate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (“ICBC (Asia)”) is the flagship of overseas business of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (“ICBC”) – currently the largest commercial bank in China, and it is one of the domestic systemically important banks (D-SIBs) in Hong Kong. Currently, ICBC (Asia) has 52 retail outlets (including 27 “Elite Club” Wealth Management Centres) in Hong Kong. It is engaged in commercial banking, investment banking and other financial services, including those of securities, insurance and funds, with a focus on commercial and retail banking as well as global market business. Chinese Mercantile Bank and ICBC Asset Management (Global) Company Limited, two wholly-owned subsidiaries of ICBC (Asia), specialize in Renminbi services in mainland China and ICBC’s global asset management business respectively.
Job Responsibilities
- 制定並執行信用卡及卡貸產品的整體行銷策略,涵蓋線上線下管道推廣,提升品牌曝光及市場份額。
- 策劃並落地行銷活動(如節日促銷、聯名活動、用戶增長計畫),監測活動效果並優化投放策略。
- 負責數字行銷推廣,包括社交媒體運營、搜索引擎行銷(SEM)、資訊流廣告等,提升用戶轉化率。
- 分析市場趨勢及競品動態,挖掘用戶需求,優化產品賣點與推廣話術。
- 協同產品、技術、客服團隊,推動行銷功能上線(如線上申卡流程優化、自助服務功能推廣)。
- 管理外部合作資源(如媒體、管道商、KOL),拓展異業合作機會,提升獲客效率。
- 監控推廣數據(ROI、點擊率、轉化率等),定期輸出分析報告,提出改進建議。
Job Requirements
- 本科及以上學歷,市場行銷、廣告傳媒、商業管理或相關專業優先。
- 3年以上金融/互聯網行業行銷推廣經驗,熟悉信用卡/消費金融產品推廣邏輯。
- 精通數字行銷工具(如Google Analytics、SEO/SEM、社交媒體平臺),具備活動策劃及數據分析能力。
- 創意豐富,對熱點敏感,能獨立完成行銷方案設計及跨部門協作落地。
- 出色的溝通能力與執行力,抗壓性強,能在快節奏環境中高效完成目標。
- 中英文流利,普通話標準,具備優秀的內容撰寫與提案能力。
