- Assist in covering listed companies in the overseas advanced manufacturing and automotive sectors, tracking industry policies, trends, and other relevant information, and providing periodic/irregular analysis reports;
- Provide investment advice and services to clients through roadshows, conference calls, commissioned research, and other channels;
- Maintain industry databases, build and update company financial models, and complete other tasks assigned by the company or department;
- Ad hoc tasks assigned by sector head.
- Master’s degree or above from top-tier universities; no specific major required, but CPA, CFA, or similar qualifications are preferred;
- Background in sell-side equity research is preferred;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English, excellent research and data organization abilities, and independent thinking. The Successful Applicant
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years in quality management roles within the automotive industry, with at least 5 years at director level in an international context.
Technical Skills
Proven experience quality functions in the EMEA region.
Expertise in ISO/TS 16949, VDA 6.3, or equivalent quality standards.
Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles.
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Fluent in English; knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous.
Problem-Solving
Proven ability to solve complex quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
Adaptability

Your role will include the ability to grow, lead a team of dedicated engineers aiming at adaptating our products to automotive and industrial specific requirements. You will represent Canonical and Ubuntu in the industrial and automotive community and standards consortia. What you'll do
- Work with Product Management to refine the vision and strategy for automotive at Canonical
- Define and execute an engineering roadmap for the automotive team at Canonical
- Represent Ubuntu and Canonical in the automotive community, in front of customers, partners and consortia
- Build and lead a globally distributed team of engineers and coordinate, guide and oversee their work
- Develop skills through coaching, feedback and hands-on technical leadership
- Set and manage expectations with other engineering teams, senior management, and external stakeholders
