We are looking for an Assistant Chief Engineer based at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong!

• Assist Director of Engineering to manage the department’s daily operation and supervise the Engineering Team to provide repairs and maintenance services for all locations and facilities within the hotel premises
• Assign first-line repairs against job orders and routine maintenance for the hotel’s equipment and facilities
• Maintain up-to-date maintenance record systems on all preventive maintenance and repairs carried out in the hotel
• Carry out regular inspections of the hotel and plant rooms to ensure facilities are in reliable and functional condition and work areas are tidy and safe
• Ensure reliable operation of equipment and effective performance of all life safety systems within the hotel
• Support the Department Head in formulating preventive maintenance strategies and implementation plans for building and E&M systems
• Monitor contractors’ work and liaise with relevant parties to develop and supervise projects and renovations
• Conduct training on emergency procedures and system operation for the team in alignment with related fire, life and safety policies
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

IT Engineer (Security) (R/097/24) - Computing Services Centre (CityUHK). The Computing Services Centre (CSC) at City University of Hong Kong manages the University’s Information Technology infrastructure and services covering Data Centre Operations, Cloud and System Hosting, Research Computing and High-Performance Computing, Communication and Networking, Workspace and Audio-Visual Technologies, and other related IT functions to support the University’s operations.

IT Engineer (Security) in Computing Services Centre (Ref. R/097/24)

• Manage the Zero Trusted Network Access (ZTNA) project deployment and coordinate with SystemIntegrator (SI) and vendor to fine-tune the system to meet CityUHK’s requirements;
• Support Network Firewall administration and operations encompassing traffic monitoring, rule management and configuration, performance monitoring and firmware updates;
• Review the Work Requests (WRs) and translate them into a configuration change to perform network security-related Change Requests (CRs);
• Support the academic departments’ network security tightening project;
