- Conduct annual/quarterly, and monthly financial reporting
- Manage month-end closing activities, including preparing and reviewing accounting journals, reconciliations, and monthly management reports
- Handle regulatory and group reporting, external audits and statutory filings
- Address ad-hoc requests from FWD Group and perform other duties as assigned by the senior manages or above
- Play a key role in implementation of new system changes
- Degree holder with accounting background and CPA certificate
- At least 6 years of working experience, preferably in insurance / financial services industry
- Strong knowledge ad technical skills in IFRS17 and IFRS 9, also Accounting Treatment and Oracle Ledger
- Proficient in financial reporting concepts
- Detail-oriented and adhere to deadline
- Strong communication skills

Respond to audit queries in regard to reported notes the in a timely and accurate manner
Accounting Policy Maintenance -
- Keep updated with finance policies from CITIC Group and Ministry of Finance
- Assist to complete finance policy development as required by supervisor in expected time frame and quality
Balance Sheet Substantiation -
- Timely deliver the balance sheet substantiation requirement to corresponding finance team, follow up outstanding matters
- Assist finance team to tackle related question. Report to management on key finding as per project timeline
Support finance team ad-hoc project and reporting as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting field
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, preferably within the Financial Services industry
- Good command of both written and spoken Mandarin and English
- Understanding of investment banks' business, specifically the understanding of Chinese investment banks is preferred
- Good knowledge of IFRS
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot table/Macro)
- Knowledge of accounting system, SAP is preferred
- Audit experience/background is preferred but not essential;
