The position holder is expected to support Regional finance team on the group reporting, accounting policy --maintenance, financial control / compliance related matters and any ad-hoc projects as required.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

State Share Registration of CSI entities -

• Prepare the state share registration (SOE) lodgments including new company registration, share capital change, liquidation and all other transactions required by SOE by due date
• Keep updated with new policy and requirements of state share registration
• Take in charge of coordination of annual review filing and progress management
• Liaise closely with Corp Sec for relevant supporting documents required for the lodgments
• Liaise closely with Beijing Finance Team regarding any issues encountered

CITIC Pack reporting -

• Complete CITIC Pack notes for the accounts allocated by management by agreed timeline
• Diagnose abnormalities on data collected and on timely advise management on the potential issues identified

Respond to audit queries in regard to reported notes the in a timely and accurate manner

Accounting Policy Maintenance -

• Keep updated with finance policies from CITIC Group and Ministry of Finance
• Assist to complete finance policy development as required by supervisor in expected time frame and quality

Balance Sheet Substantiation -

• Timely deliver the balance sheet substantiation requirement to corresponding finance team, follow up outstanding matters
• Assist finance team to tackle related question. Report to management on key finding as per project timeline

Support finance team ad-hoc project and reporting as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting field
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, preferably within the Financial Services industry
• Good command of both written and spoken Mandarin and English
• Understanding of investment banks' business, specifically the understanding of Chinese investment banks is preferred
• Good knowledge of IFRS
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot table/Macro)
• Knowledge of accounting system, SAP is preferred
• Audit experience/background is preferred but not essential;
• Quick learner and team player
• Proactive and independent.

This job holder resides within Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis and is responsible for assisting the Club's financial planning and reporting including providing efficient and comprehensive budgeting, quarterly forecast as well as management reporting process that aligns with the Club-wide strategic and operational objectives. In recent years, the Club has experienced significant expansion and increased complexity in its operations. The breadth and significance of the Club's strategic projects will see this trend continue. It is strategically important that the Finance Division has the structure, capability and agility to ensure that strategic and operational decisions of the Board of Management are made with reference to financial insight, discipline and governance. To achieve this, the Executive Director, Finance has initiated a program to strengthen the Club's corporate finance. • Financial Reporting and Analysis
