Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creative direction and planning for all channels of business (FS / Pop Up / Outpost)
  • Show initiative and actively contribute to all stages of the creative design process for all window installations, interior changeovers, pop up and outpost requirements
  • Work together with contractors to resolve design details for final design and produce detail drawings and provide input where necessary.
  • Monitor creative production of window sets / props / pop up and outpost construction and ensure quality and specifications are met
  • Assist with sourcing, buying and/or producing relevant props
  • Assist team with any other creative design work when required.
  • Execute window installations and interior changeovers for stores including but not limited to construction of window sets / interior setups, on-site prop handling and prop placement
  • In keeping with visual calendar, prepare for next installation or floor change
  • For each installation, responsible for procuring/compiling creative and aesthetic elements for floor, including: any decorative prop elements, furniture, fabric, etc.
  • Execute interim display strategies for critical vacancies (outposts, pop ups, provide creative input and assistance with marketing events)
  • Manage freelance consultants during installations and changeovers as necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years Visual Merchandising and/or Visual Presentation/Display/Fine Art/Fashion styling experience, preferably throughout Asia Pacific
  • Demonstrated ability to balance maintenance and installations on a rolling calendar.
  • Ability to conduct installations outside of standard working hours and with international vendors at various locations
  • Project Management/Organization skills: proven ability to prioritize, work to a punch list, and hit aggressive deadlines with minimal direction
  • Communication skills: ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in verbal conversation with peers, supervisors and direct reports
  • Computer proficiency including MS Word & Excel. Ability to utilize design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and AutoCAD is a plus
  • Proven ability to understand RL aesthetics
  • English and Cantonese is a must (Mandarin beneficial)

The Role

As a UI / UX Designer, you'll be an important part of the product team to help create motion experiences that engage and delight our users. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp on visual craft with a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for creating engaging interface designs for motion games and experiences, spanning a variety of styles and age ranges. You'll collaborate closely with our creative and engineering teams to help create the look and feel of new digital products, from conception to execution.

What You'll Do

  • Design visually compelling interfaces: Work with the team to create the look and feel of brand new motion-based family experiences that appeal to a broad audience, from children to parents, across a range of styles.
  • Create UI assets for branded experiences: Design UI assets based on the guidelines of our brand partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with the development team to ensure the quality of UI implementation.
  • Maintain visual excellence: Uphold a high standard of craft and execution, delivering polished and professional designs in all projects.



What We're Looking For

  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI design, with a focus on visually compelling and well-executed designs.
  • Craft: Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles and visual craftsmanship in general.
  • Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch).
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

To Succeed in this role

  • At least 3 years of solid hands-on experience in Adobe Creative Suites like Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere and other graphic applications like Canva.
