Job Description
- Responsible for implementation of laboratory quality system including but not limited to test results, test methods, equipment and environment as follows:
- Review and analyse test results generated from the laboratory testing activities
- Interpret test results and observations independently, and identity test trends
- Estimate and report measurement uncertainly for laboratory testing or calibration activities
- Develop and document test methods and procedures from relevant international standards to meet both regulatory requirements and customer’s needs
- Verify requests on testing services from customers, contract testing services and respond to customers with accurate and relevant information in compliance with the laboratory/ accreditation requirements
- Calibrate, verify and maintain reference standards against established acceptance criteria and determine the storage conditions in a testing/ calibration laboratory
- Validate and verify the laboratory-developed/non-standard test method according to the authorized validation protocol, interpret and conclude validation data
- Determine and apply appropriate statistical technique for analyzing valid measurement data.
- Degree or above in Chemistry or related disciplines
- Minimum 7 years' relevant experience, with 2 year's experience in laboratory supervision, operation and service program development
- Knowledge of HOKLAS system and ISO/IEC 17025
- Initiative, organized and able to work independently
- Good command of English and Chinese including Mandarin
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Chemist

Job Description
- Conduct basic laboratory testing according to standard operating procedures
- Record, present, store and maintain the test data in the required format accurately
- Calculate simple scientific quantities; identify and report the abnormal patterns timely
- Collect sample using specified equipment and standard procedures
- Prepare the sample ready and fit for testing, including but not limited to performing extraction procedures on the sample, carrying out sample separation by applying suitable technique
- Apply appropriate statistics techniques in sampling and monitor and verify the sampling process in accordance with the sampling plan
- Handle chemicals, solutions and reagents safety
- Follow customer requirements and prepare laboratory materials, equipment and facilities required for carrying out chemical tests in testing laboratories

- Carry out routine chemical testing such as Heavy metal, Azo dye, PAH, Phthalate test and etc.
- Operating instruments (e.g. GCMS, LCMS) for routine test
- Consolidate and record relevant data on the test worksheet

- Perform equipment and instrument calibrations according to standard operating procedures

- Prospect assigned territory, clients, and leads.
- Assist in regionalizing sales efforts by increasing local client visits.
