Key Responsibilities:
Programme Design: Create fitness plans tailored to the diverse needs and goals of our participants. Quality Assurance: Ensure all training programmes adhere to best practices and programme standards. 
Fitness Assessments: Conduct comprehensive initial fitness assessments and perform regular follow-ups to track progress and adjust plans accordingly.
Training Delivery: Lead by example through delivering high-quality fitness training sessions that demonstrate effective techniques.
Supervision & Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior trainers through constructive feedback, performance reviews, and professional development support.
Schedule Management: Develop and manage the team's training schedule to ensure efficient coverage and optimal resource allocation.
Workshop Leadership: Organize and lead educational workshops for staff and interns on fitness techniques.
Knowledge: Continuously research and integrate the latest evidence-based trends in fitness into all training practices.
Record Management: Maintain accurate records, including progress notes and feedback, to ensure continuous improvement and fitness service.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on training outcomes, performance metrics, and programme effectiveness to management.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with nutritionists, wellness coaches, and other staff to provide a holistic approach.
Team Leadership: Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss challenges, share successes, and develop strategies for improvement.
Retention Strategy: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance programme's satisfaction, engagement, and long-term retention.
Safety & Compliance: Uphold all safety protocols and ensure the training environment meets required standards.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks during training sessions and activities.
Internship Programme Development: Design, develop, and oversee the fitness internship programme; supervise interns and volunteers, providing regular feedback and guidance.
Requirements:
Certified Personal Trainer certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM). 
Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting personal training sessions in neurodiverse community.
Demonstrated experience and a proven passion for working with individuals from the special needs community.
Exceptional empathy, patience, and communication skills to build trust and motivate participants.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Specialized certification in training with special needs (e.g., Adaptive Special Population Certification).
Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship within a fitness setting.
Strong ability to design, periodize, and adapt fitness programmes for a wide range of abilities and goals.
Ability to multi-task and work independently without close supervision.
Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Strong understanding of community dynamics and experience in building and maintaining relationships.
Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
A good team leader with excellent interpersonal, communications, organizational and time management skills;
Fluency in English and Cantonese with written and communication skills in both languages.

Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for a variety of functions.
The Job
- Provide administrative support while being actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the Recreation Department. Ensure maximum Members satisfaction and adherence to standards required by the Club.
 - Assist supervisor in planning, promoting and organising sports and recreation activities in the Clubhouse. Oversee the operation and maintain the standards of the sports and recreation equipment.
 - Review the profitability and success of each activity scheduled with supervisor. Maintain accurate records in all aspects of the activities for future reference and improvement actions.
 - Provide courteous and professional services at all times when handling Members' enquires and complaints.
 - Work in close coordination with supervisor to ensure smooth operations of the recreation and changing rooms facilities pertaining to the daily operating supplies of guest amenities, laundry and bath towels. Monitor and control lockers and locker keys, including proper follow-up with lost locker keys.
 - Arrange for systematic and accurate input of Members' charges in facilities usage and programmes. Prepare the monthly sales statement and facilities usage statistics.
 - Assist in the operation of the various recreational outlets in line with the needs of the Recreation Department as required.
 - Provide support to the Sports and Leisure Co-ordinators and Sports and Leisure Attendants in serving Members and their guests for check-in and checkout of the changing rooms, facility reservation and general administration centered around the reception counter. Enforce HKJC bylaws in an effective and professional manner.
 - Ensure that all facilities in the changing rooms are properly maintained, report and follow up all matters arisen that may reasonably affect the changing rooms' users and normal operations, such as emergency break-down of sauna, toilet flush system, and that lost items are handled following the established "Lost and Found" procedures.
 - To assist in promoting various programmes, facilities and services of the Clubhouse and report any irregularities.
 - Perform any other related duties as and when assigned by supervisor.
 - Delivering products or services with sustainable improvements in resource efficiency without compromising quality
 - Managing a team whose performance in service excellence and guest engagement are the level of role models for peers
 
About You
• A Degree or Diploma in Recreation and Leisure Management or related disciplines. 
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in the leisure or recreation fields. 
• Strong in leadership, excellent interpersonal skills with initiatives to interact with customers and staff. 
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese. 
• Hands-on experience in MS Office applications.
