Site Operations Department
The Site Operations Department is responsible for the overall health of all mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance, and performance of all data modules in our data centers. The team is staffed 24 x 7 onsite with Data Center Technicians (DCTs) working on shift. This team is the face of Vantage to our customers and the guaranty of business continuity and excellence of Operations of our campus as well as the performance of our customer installations. Position Description
The Project & Service Implementation Technician (PSI Technician) is responsible for the provisioning of best-in-class data center services for our customers in accordance with Vantage standards. Tasks include, but are not limited to, implementing new cabinet or cage environments, and installation and testing of copper and fibre optic structured cabling and cross connects. PSI Technician is required to work closely with other Site Operations teams and third-party vendors to meet customer expectations whilst complying with Vantage safety and security procedures.
Essential Job Functions
- Work under limited supervision, both independently and within a team environment
- Manage multiple one-time and/or ongoing projects
- Engaging with customers and providing them with world class customer service
- Frequent contact with external third-party contractors and vendors
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to high quality standards
Duties
- Liaise with Sales Engineer to understand customer order requirements
- Liaise with Facilities Management to develop cabinet or cage design, includes power and cooling
- Develop network cabling design, includes copper and or fiber cabling plus cross-connects
- Obtaining third party contractor and or vendor quotes, purchase requisition submissions
- Planning and scheduling of project work activities, includes obtaining all internal approvals
- Installation, termination and testing of copper and fiber cabling and or cross connects
- Tracking and reporting of project costs and schedules
- Quality inspections and records management
- Supporting Site Operations on general daily site activities as required
- Supporting Vantage’s clients through delivery of exceptional customer service
Job Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent in Telecommunications or relevant to the industry
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Telecoms industry or Data Center Operations
- Excellent knowledge on Fixed Telecommunication Network services preferred
- Experience working in a mission critical environment or data center preferred
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Registered Electrical Worker (REW) license required
- Good command of English, Chinese and Putonghua
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- May be required to complete formal training in an area of specialty
- Travel is expected to be less than 5%, occasionally for training purposes

To Succeed in the Role

- Familiar with local ordinances and regulations, COP, as well as relevant international standards
- Self-motivated with strong communication and problem solving skills
- Customer services oriented
- Proficiency in written/spoken English and Chinese, particularly in incident report writing
- Computer skills are required, e.g. MS Office, AutoCAD, etc
- Holder of Grade A registered electrical worker certificate or above will be an advantage

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Planner is responsible for managing and supporting construction schedules across live projects while developing tender schedules for upcoming projects using pre-construction information. Position Description
Assist Head of Facilities and FD HoS to carry out design, tendering, evaluation of improvement projects, and site liaison, monitoring, checking the progress and safety of construction or renovation sites, ensuring quality of works; support the maintenance works to ensure the maintenance work of all hangar equipment is carried out in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with the time schedules and quality standards required to comply with statutory and aviation regulations. Provide supervision to FD staff and contractors during project phases.
What You'll Do

- ensuring quality of works; support the maintenance works to ensure the maintenance work of all hangar equipment is carried out in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with the time schedules and quality standards required to comply with statutory and aviation regulations.
- Provide supervision to FD staff and contractors during project phases.
- Handle new design, modification and improvement of hangar, workshop, office and equipment
- Co-ordinate with different parties to ensure the smooth operation of the project and solve any technical problems encountered during the project phase
- Compile specification for projects and equipment, tender evaluation and justification
- To design the maintenance schedule for all critical production equipment to ensure they are all in serviceable condition in accordance with airworthiness regulations and will not affect HAECO’s daily operation
- Co-ordinate with contractors and all related parties to solve all problems on site to ensure the work to be completed satisfactorily and follow up for any deficiencies
Job Requirements & Competencies
- Good in presentation skill; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong project management and technical skills and able to work independently.
- Excellent in application of AutoCAD or other computer aid design software, Microsoft Office, planning software (Primavera, MS Project, etc.) which are common using in Facilities.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Degree in related discipline + 8 years relevant experience OR
- Higher Diploma in related discipline + 9 years relevant experience
- 2 years in Assistant Engineer

- Manage site progress, conduct site inspections, and monitor site works and DfMA/pre-fab installations
- Liaise with sub-contractors and internal parties to ensure site works are performed smoothly, safely, and meet quality standards
- Coordinate work sequences and interfacing details between building services installations and builder's requirements
- Prepare work records and report daily site progress, technical submissions, and applications for permits
- Provide daily site quality observation reports and follow up on rectifications
- Night shift work may be required when necessary
- Higher Diploma or above in Building Services Engineering or relevant discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in building services coordination or installation for large-scale projects, preferably in railway projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a high sense of responsibility
- Proficienct in both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Applicant with additional experience, supervisory responsibilities or advanced qualifications may be considered for the Senior Site Engineer position
- Immediate availability is preferred

Responsibilities
- Monitor geotechnical works progress and produce timely information in advance of construction to avoid delays.
- Supervise and ensure compliance of materials, approved plans, contractor’s workmanship, and construction methodologies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the client or project geotechnical engineer/consultant related to geotechnical works.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering or related disciplines.
- Corporate member of MHKIE (or equivalent) and RPE qualification (Geotechnical) with relevant experience.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in supervising and coordinating building construction projects.
- Experience supervising site formation, ELS, and foundation construction works.
