The Job

The incumbent will be responsible for providing integrated engineering support and project coordination to the project assigned. You will also lead a small team of engineering staff to supervise day-to-day construction works to ensure timely project completion with good quality and safety performance.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent and preferably with professional membership
• Minimum 6 years' relevant experience in project coordination, progress monitoring and supervision of structural work and temporary work design. Previous exposure in structure / ELS / basement works is a definite advantage
• Previous experience in ASD Design and Build project is preferred
• Proactive, good communication, interpersonal and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the supervision and management of civil engineering and railway interface works, including architectural builders works and finishes (ABWF), ensuring seamless integration with the operational railway environment
• Oversee daily site operations, contract administration, monitoring construction progress, resolve construction related issues, deliver timely and accurate progress reports
• Evaluate and provide strategic input on construction methodologies and planning during the design development stage to optimize buildability and programme efficiency
• Coordinate site logistics and interface activities with designated contractors to ensure smooth execution and alignment with project milestones
• Liaise proactively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, safety protocols and quality standards
• Oversee Authorised Person (AP), Registered Structural Engineers (RSE), Registered Geotechnical Engineers (RGE), and Technically Competent Person (TCP) and other site personnel to ensure adherence to site supervision standards specified under relevant codes and regulations.
