Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management (including Transformation & Improvement)

  • Oversee the financial performance of assigned portfolio businesses, ensuring optimal returns and risk management.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and drive the implementation of strategic improvements.

  • Support senior leadership throughout the M&A process, from opportunity identification to integration (acquisition) or completion (divestment).

  • Support financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and transaction structuring.
  • Assist portfolio businesses on their M&A initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; Accountancy qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in external and internal audit or finance roles.
  • Strong interest in portfolio management and a good understanding of the Jardine Pacific businesses and sectors.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
  • A basic understanding of strategic frameworks linking financial and business objectives.
  • Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Flexible and open-minded with intellectual curiosity; enthusiastic about learning, both self-driven and on-job training
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex ideas clearly.
  • Ability to generate actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Proven effectiveness in cross-functional team environments and multi-stakeholder settings. Persuasion rather than directive.
