Key Responsibilities
- Assist team head in planning, design & project management of capital projects including construction, addition & alteration, renovation & improvement works;
- Prepare technical feasibility studies, rough cost estimate and project programme for funding application;
- Coordinate with external consultants to ensure planning and design of capital projects comply with the operational and licensing requirement;
- Liaise with Government officials, internal departments and project stakeholders;
- Manage and supervise capital projects to ensure quality, budget and programme comply with contract provision;
- Supervise external consultants to obtain statutory approval, prepare tender documentation and to review construction submissions;
- Prepare bidding document, manage bidding procedure to ensure compliance with internal and Government requirement;
- Perform ad-hoc assignments and other duties as required.
Requirement
- Hold a Diploma or Higher Diploma in Architectural Studies, Building Surveying or related discipline;
- Possess 1 year of relevant experience in consultancy firms; candidate with NGO background will be an advantage;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop and Microsoft Office;
- Competent writing and communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Strong communication, teamwork, interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new environment;
- Well organized, detail-oriented, highly independent, proactive, able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
