What You’ll Be Doing

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Mid-Senior Level 3D Visual Designer who will be responsible for elevating our brand’s visual presence and crafting innovative, dynamic user experiences. Your role will include the following key responsibilities:

  • 3D Visual System Creation & Standardization: Design and establish a cohesive 3D visual system for our products, ensuring the development of new visual standards that maintain consistency and high quality across all designs.
  • Brand Visual 3D Design: Lead the creation of 3D designs for brand visuals, including but not limited to graphic design, illustrations, animation, rendering, and more. Ensure the designs align with the brand’s tone and effectively enhance brand identity.
  • Brand Image Revitalization & Innovation: Participate in the evolution and rebranding of the company’s image, exploring creative directions and providing forward-thinking design solutions to boost brand recognition and user experience.
  • Creative Design for Marketing & Product: Contribute to various marketing campaigns, product designs, and user interface designs, ensuring high-quality visual design and creative input for all relevant projects.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, operations, and marketing teams to understand business requirements and deliver creative design solutions that align with the company’s goals. Ensure that designs are effectively implemented and meet business objectives.
  • Trend Monitoring & Design Innovation: Stay up-to-date with global design trends, explore new technologies and tools (such as AI design tools), and drive design innovation. Implement these technologies to enhance creative processes and workflow efficiency.

What We Look For In You

  • Educational Background: A degree in Graphic Design, 2D / 3D character design, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of professional experience in 3D visual design, and a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • 3D Design Expertise: Solid proficiency in 3D design with expertise in design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, etc. Ability to work with a variety of styles and deliver high-quality creative solutions.
  • Brand Design Insight: A deep understanding of brand visual systems and principles, including color theory, typography, composition, and the ability to adapt designs to match brand tones and identity.
  • Comprehensive Design Skills: Ability to create designs across a variety of media, including illustration, graphic design, and 3D motion design. Experience in independently handling design tasks in each of these areas.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and working in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Haves

  • Advanced 3D Software Proficiency: Expertise in industry-standard 3D design software such as Cinema 4D (C4D), Blender, Maya, etc. Ability to independently complete modeling, rendering, layout, and animation tasks.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the internet, blockchain, gaming, or other relevant industries. Proven track record of successful projects and the ability to adapt designs for diverse business needs.
  • Mandarin Proficiency: The ability to understand basic Mandarin is a plus. This skill will facilitate communication and collaboration with teams in different regions and enhance your ability to engage in cross-cultural discussions within our international team.

This is a two-year renewable contract position reporting to the Dean of the School of Film and Television.

  • Design and deliver courses covering Film Technology, Screen Production, and Virtual Production, including advanced workflows with LED walls, real-time rendering, and virtual camera systems.
  • Supervise student production projects and provide expert guidance on modern tools and techniques for virtual production.
  • Collaborate with other departments, alumni, and industry professionals to create valuable learning experiences and foster partnerships for local and international projects.

  • (g) Have excellent communication skills and an innovative mindset.
  • (h) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Terms of Appointment

Appointment will be on a two-year renewable contract, subject to performance and mutual agreement. A gratuity payment equals up to 15% of the total basic salary earned during the contract period, may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract. The gratuity payable, when added to the Academy’s MPF contribution, equals 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. Fringe benefits include leave, medical, and dental benefits. The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The expected commencement date is January 2026, subject to negotiation.

Position Summary
  • We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our local engineering, programming, and CAD teams.
  • This role is a strategic leadership position focused on team development, operational excellence, and technical oversight across AV integration projects.
  • The ideal candidate will bring strong management skills, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to drive performance and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and lead a responsive engineering team for programming and CAD inquiries
  • Develop a culture of accountability and performance management
  • Mentor engineering team members to support professional growth
  • Conduct daily huddles and regular communication to ensure task alignment
  • Plan and implement engineering programs aligned with customer requirements
  • Perform spot checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
  • Facilitate lessons learned meetings and process reviews
  • Review pre-construction designs and documentation
  • Support technical design and pricing as needed
  • Serve as customer liaison for engineering-related inquiries
  • Evaluate products in collaboration with vendors
  • Provide post-sales project consultation
  • Review internal and external project designs
  • Estimate labor hours based on scope and bid requirements
  • Identify special project requirements such as tools and rigging
  • Recommend process improvements to corporate and development teams
  • Test and review audio DSP systems for functionality
  • Oversee client training and field testing of integrated systems
  • Stay current with AV industry advancements and apply relevant innovations
  • Translate customer needs into functional system designs
  • Travel to multiple job sites as required
Ideal Candidates
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of AV experience, with 4 years in engineering management preferred
  • Experience managing multiple million-dollar integration projects is a plus
  • Ability to read electronic schematics and architectural blueprints preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • Strong mentoring and team development capabilities
  • Understanding of AV system design and installation
  • Ability to lead large, cross-functional project teams
  • Familiarity with construction project management in AV context
  • Proficiency with test and calibration equipment preferred

Role Summary

  • As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, specifying, and managing the installation of integrated AV systems.
  • You will oversee the technical execution of projects from award through completion, ensuring quality, functionality, and client satisfaction.
  • This role requires strong engineering expertise, AV system knowledge, and project coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project Scope of Work (SOW) for accuracy and completeness
  • Develop engineering and architectural drawings (RCP/Floor Plans), calculations, and acoustical models
  • Estimate labor hours based on scope, needs analysis, and bid requirements
  • Resolve technical and logistical challenges to ensure project delivery
  • Configure and test audio DSP and video processing systems
  • Evaluate products through vendor meetings and technical assessments
  • Provide weekly updates to the Project Manager
  • Assist in budget monitoring and personnel coordination for installations
  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting
  • Support DSP programming and engineering during installation
  • Document and deliver system test results to the Project Manager
  • Review and revise project designs and red-line drawings for CAD submission
  • Communicate professionally with internal teams and clients
  • Travel to multiple job sites as required

Ideal Candidates

  • Educated in Electronic Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years in AV experience or equivalent
  • Experiencec with Enterprise VC solutions both hardware and software
  • Strong business writing and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with test and calibration equipment
  • Experience supporting user acceptance testing
  • Basic understanding of IP networking
  • Ability to diagnose complex AV system issues
  • Advanced computer skills for AV system design and configuration
  • Valid Driver’s License holder
