AVP/VP, Loan Origination & Syndication, Greater China – originate and execute syndicated loans transactions for Greater China, including feasibility assessment, term sheet formulation, and managing timelines and documentation.
Responsibilities- Originate and execute syndicated loans transactions for Greater China, including feasibility assessment, term sheet formulation, and managing timelines and documentation.
- Develop competitive pricing models that align with market expectations and optimize transaction outcomes.
- Work closely with relationship managers to identify and originate primary or secondary deals, enhancing the bank’s syndicated loan portfolio.
- Maintain frequent dialogues with other market players for market intelligence.
- Assess market liquidity for precise underwriting decision.
- Ensure all activities adhere to internal policies, procedures, and business needs, while executing additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years in corporate banking, with a focus on Greater China syndicated loans.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a high caliber professional to join the team as an Officer, Credit Initiation Officer (Secured Loan) - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Credit Maint Analyst 2 - C10) based in Hong Kong. The role involves providing service support to clients on new loan product applications and performing regular portfolio account credit reviews on existing clients.
Responsibilities- Support processing and credit underwriting functions for Lending Products Applications (Mortgage, Investment, and Premium Financing Loans) and ensure processing within established turnaround times and productivity benchmarks.
- Perform credit assessment activities (including client profiling, credit risk analysis, credit proposal write-ups, and credit underwriting for new applications, line maintenance, and annual reviews) for consumer clients.
- Make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of application and client information.
- Analyze/evaluate credit reports and coordinate/follow up on action plans, implementations, and related defects.
- Review client’s applications and loan documents as part of the credit underwriting process.
- Render support on quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Support projects and the development of new workflows and procedures to simplify credit underwriting and post-approval processes.
- Provide administrative support surrounding application processing and portfolio activities (e.g., conducting annual reviews on existing account holders).
- Provide training to junior staff/new hires where necessary.
- Support various control tasks where necessary (e.g., assisting the department manager in collating samplings for Audit Review).
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, safeguarding Citi’s reputation, clients, and assets.

- 3-5 years of prior experience in a financial institution.
- 2-3 years of experience in credit operations or a similar position.
