In this role, you will work closely with our experienced Legal Director and cross-functional teams to provide critical support in a wide range of legal matters. From drafting and managing legal documents to conducting research and helping with compliance, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Legal Department.
What You Will Deliver- Handle the drafting and preparation of basic correspondences
- Draft standard documents and board resolutions for various board meetings
- Assist and coordinate in the preparation, review, and execution of contracts
- Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of contracts, corporate documents, and compliance files (both physical and electronic)
- Assist and support in legal research work
- Handle small claims cases independently
- Monitor deadlines and follow-up actions for ongoing matters, including court filings, regulatory submissions, and contract renewals
- Support the implementation and use of legal technology tools and processes
- Perform general administrative support for the Legal Department
- Use AI tools and other digital productivity platforms to facilitate legal drafting, research, and workflow management
- Assist and support in ad hoc projects as assigned
- A diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification in Law or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Familiarity with legal research tools and processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace and document management systems
- Basic understanding of Hong Kong corporate law and regulations
- Basic understanding of Hong Kong Companies Registry procedures
