Job Responsibilities
- Perform administrative & clerical duties
- Provide assistance to each department in support of all relevant works and activities
- Liaise, coordinate and organize meetings
- Handle phone enquiries
- Prepare and manage incoming/ outgoing correspondences, reports and documents
- Perform data entry tasks and upkeep the files, records and databases in good order
- Support senior Administrative Assistants, Executive Assistants or senior staff to handle requests and enquires from senior managers
- Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisors
- 5 working days per week
- A Diploma or Associate Degree in any discipline is preferred
- Fresh graduate applicants are welcomed; 1-2 years of work experience would be a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- Willing to learn, positive service attitude and result-oriented
- Good communications and interpersonal skills and be a good team player
- Strong sense of discipline, good time management, detail-minded
- Can work under pressure, be high-efficient, independent and self-motivated

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic, high-calibre and experienced professional to join our Service Promotion Department.
Responsibilities:
- To plan and formulate promotional strategies on healthcare and bio-medical sectors in accordance with the Council’s annual plan and business plan of Service Promotion Department.
- To lead a team and implement comprehensive promotional programme and projects through close co-ordination with internal departments, overseas and mainland offices, and external partners and vendors.
- To build relationships with key industry players and multipliers particularly in healthcare and bio-medical sectors through proactive engagement.
- To oversee the financial and budgetary planning of the assigned projects.
- To manage and provide secretariat support to a steering committee.
- To effectively lead a team and provide proper guidance to team members for implementing service promotional programme.
- To supervise day-to-day operations, including management reporting, finance, administrative and HR-related matters.
- University graduate with a minimum of 12 years’ solid managerial experience, preferably with sizable organisations, in any of the following areas: sales and marketing; exhibition/event organisation or public/corporate relations etc.
- Strong inclination and understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade and business arena covering various industries, and markets and business opportunities for Hong Kong.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua; knowledge of a third language an advantage.
- Mature with superior skills in sales, marketing and communication.
- A strong team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and outgoing with good project planning ability.
- Innovative, flexible and be able to deliver under time and resource pressure.
The successful candidate will be offered a two-year contract with prospects for renewal upon expiry. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus an appropriate contract-end gratuity. Medical benefits and annual leave will be offered.
