We are seeking an experienced Commodity Manager with a strong global network and deep expertise in sourcing commodities, particularly memory, HDDs, SSDs, and related components. This role serves as a strategic link between our sales representatives and buyers to identify and capitalize on high-value key commodities trading opportunities in the global market.
Responsibilities:
- Discover opportunities and manage commodities including memory, HDDs, SSD.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, hyperscalers, and other key supply partners to ensure consistent and reliable sourcing.
- Collaborate with internal purchasing and sales teams to align supply capabilities with business needs and customer requirements.
- Identify and engage new customers to expand market reach and drive demand for commodity products.
- Monitor global market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics to uncover business opportunities, optimize profitability, and support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, working closely with buyers and sales teams to re-engage accounts and adapt supply strategies to evolving market conditions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in sourcing, supply chain, or sales of components such as memory, HDDs, SSDs, GPUs, NICs, and switches; prior experience in a commodity franchise or related OEM is a strong advantage.
- Well-established industry network across OEMs, data centers, hyperscalers, and server manufacturers.
- Proven negotiation and deal-closing skills, with a track record of managing transactions of varying complexity and scale.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proactive, results-driven mindset and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written).
