Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee(s) will be responsible mainly for the following:

• Marking of assignments, tests, and examination;
• Undertaking the teaching and tutorial of courses (including classroom / laboratory teaching) in related disciplines at degree level;
• Providing consultation to students and performing other teaching-related and administrative duties; and
• Assisting in course planning and development as well as participating in School / University activities.
  

• A Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related discipline;
• Candidates with past experience in relevant course content and laboratory work are preferred;
• Relevant teaching or professional experience is preferred; and
• Proficiency in both Chinese, English, and Putonghua will be an advantage.

• Coordinate engineering works among departments, internal clients, and contractors.
• Supervise both direct and indirect staff in engineering works implementation.

About The Role

• Authorised to represent the Contractor on construction aspects.
• Preparation and submission of Temporary Works proposals, construction methodologies and sequences, TTA implementation, drainage, sewerage, water supply and utilities liaison; and
• Perform project management duties as assigned by the supervisors; Handle ad-hoc duties as required.
  

• University degree in civil / geotechnical / structural engineering discipline or equivalent in appropriate discipline; and
• 5 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, including experience in a key position on site for supervision or construction of works of similar nature as the works under the contract; and
• A good team player with excellent influencing, project management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent in spoken and written Chinese and preferably also in English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
