About The Opportunity

As a Content Designer, you are the bridge between our users and our products. Your expertise in crafting clear, concise, and accurate content not only builds trust with our users but also transforms complex product features into intuitive, easy-to-understand experiences. You will foster relationships with key stakeholders across various departments, including Product Management, Product Design, Marketing, User Research, Engineering, and Localization.

What You’ll Be Doing
  1. Craft clear, concise, and user-centered content for digital products, including UI text, microcopy, error messages, tooltips, and onboarding flows, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
  2. Collaborate closely with product managers, product designers, UX researchers, and developers to understand user needs, product goals, and technical constraints, and deliver content that enhances functionality and usability.
  3. Develop content strategies that align with the company’s brand voice and tone, driving consistency across platforms and products, while adapting to different user personas, use cases, and business needs.
  4. Conduct user research, A/B testing, and content audits to analyze the effectiveness of content, gather insights, and iterate on content solutions to improve user engagement and satisfaction.
  5. Create and maintain content guidelines, style guides, and best practices to ensure a cohesive content experience across multiple teams and projects, fostering alignment and scalability.
What We Look For In You
  • At least 5 years of content writing or UX writing and people management experience
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in English, Language Studies, Journalism, Communications, Translations or Interpretation or related fields
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and outstanding ability to write in English at a near-native level
  • Proven experience in various forms of writing, such as content strategy, UI copy, microcopies and user education
  • Experience in creating style guides, content framework, and working with diverse or global teams
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying and addressing issues in a timely manner
  • Deep commitment to enhancing user experience, prioritizing user needs and insights into content creation
Nice to Haves
  • Experience or familiarity with the crypto or blockchain industry
  • Proficiency in design and localization software
  • International experience, covering content targeted towards different geographical regions
  • Proficiency in written Chinese is a bonus but not required

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Develop and implement content marketing strategies to disseminate content across Hong Kong Tourism Board’s major social media channels (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok)
  • Explore and implement innovative creative strategies that cater to specific targets sectors, such as the Youth market, as well as emerging market like Muslim community and the Greater Bay area
  • Ideate, create and produce engaging digital content, including photography, video, art direction and copy across multiple forms and social channels to support business needs
  • Develop and guide a high-performing team including writers, designers and videographers; inspire the team across multiple creative areas i.e. photography, video, graphic design etc
  • Lead social media postings and calendars, keep up with current industry and social trends and topics; review and ensure contents are optimized, effective and follow the best practices
  • Oversee the creative production process with content agencies/in-house production team, including managing timelines, resources and budgets
  • Track and monitor KPI performances especially on engagement; review, adjust and transform key data into actionable insights
  • Proactively identify and make recommendations on poor performing content and social channel engagement
  • Collaborate with content partners, stakeholders, and other third parties to produce high quality content

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University degree holder in Journalism/ Marketing/ Communications or related subjects
  • At least 10 years’ experience in a creative role, such as advertising /digital agency, content creation, publishing, or related fields is preferred
  • In house experience and proven experiences in leading and managing creative teams, including videographers, graphic designers and copywriters are advantageous
  • Strong storyteller, able to distil complex ideas into understandable and relatable story angles
  • Knowledge of best practices in social platform , emerging technologies, and industry trends in video production and storytelling
  • Strong organization skills with problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in written English and Chinese

Role Introduction

The Specialist Digital Content is responsible to oversee the creation and delivery of engaging visual content across our digital signage network. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end workflow for producing dynamic multimedia content and ensuring the content is displayed clearly on all digital signs. This position will collaborate with various venue departments like marketing, operations, IT, security, facilities etc. and different entities to execute events and improve venue experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with brand messaging and campaign objectives.
  • Curate and produce visual content including video, animations, graphics, photos, and text for digital signage.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to conceptualize and produce content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Oversee technical delivery of content across digital signage screens using CMS platforms.
  • Monitor content performance and user engagement metrics to optimize content and strategy.
  • Stay on top of digital signage content best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Manage budgets and timelines for content production and system implementation.
  • Work closely with marketing team to conceptualise digital signage content that aligns with broader brand campaigns, promotions, and messaging.
  • Partner with marketing on branded content pieces, including working with sponsors/partners on integrations and co-developed visuals.
  • Collaborate on creative direction, asset development and production timelines for new content initiatives like season kick-offs, themed events, athlete features, etc.
  • Provide guidance on content strategies, platforms and metrics that will resonate best with target demographics based on digital signage expertise.
  • Share audience analytics and feedback regularly with marketing to optimize and refine content approach.
  • Ensure brand guidelines, imagery, and tone are applied accurately across all digital signage content.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

  • Experience working with content creation software. e.g., Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience managing digital signage content and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of visual design, multimedia formats, and UX principles
  • Technical knowledge of digital signage hardware, software, and content management
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Collaborative team player with ability to build relationships across the organisation.
  • A keen interest in the sports venue industry and innovation in the technical kit, actively seeking information and sharing internally with the team.

Ralph Lauren Asia Pacific is looking for a motivated and digital savvy Digital Content Operations Specialist to join the digital production team. The Digital Content Operations Specialist will partner closely with our cross-functional and cross-regional counterparts in APAC and global HQ to support our site and digital channel partnership initiatives. The candidate must be well versed in the digital world and can utilize digital to elevate the customer and brand experience. The role requires a detail oriented, driven, and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and distribute digital creative for .com site content and online partnerships
  • Manage the digital production workflow to produce and deliver all ecommerce and digital needs such as seasonal creative, online media placements, and platform enhancements
  • Partner closely with the ecommerce and digital marketing teams to service all APAC markets including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and South East Asia
  • Route all creative and changes through appropriate stakeholders for review & approvals
  • Maintain vendor relationships and track vendor deliverables
  • Create tech briefs in collaboration with regional ecommerce and/or marketing teams and publish content via vendors as applicable to each country’s operating models
  • Ensure the creative/design team delivers high quality, on-brand designs on time
  • Effectively communicate and liaise with interdepartmental teams including marketing, IT, ecommerce, wholesale, legal, and global creative teams on digital content needs of the ecommerce businesses
  • Identify, implement, and collaborate on process improvements
  • Proactively monitor brand’s digital properties across devices, channels, markets
  • Support QA of new creative design pages and production defects
  • Support the regions on bringing local content to life on digital flagship properties by closely collaborating with internal design teams in and Global HQ
  • Keep up-to-date on Global & Country-level Consumer Marketing Calendars and effectively manage project timeline to bring all campaigns to life on-time, on-brand, at all times
  • Keep the consumer at the center when creating digital experiences across various digital platforms

Requirements

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing digital projects, especially digital content in an ecommerce or digital agency environment
  • Understands creative development and digital project processes
  • Can effectively manage multiple projects and priorities across various channels
  • Performs well in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • You are also a strong communicator and relationship builder; a hands-on and independent self-starter; and a creative thinker and problem solver
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms preferred
  • Experience with Salesforces or Adobe CMS is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required

Position Overview

Ralph Lauren Asia Pacific is looking for a motivated and digital savvy Digital Content Operations Specialist to join the digital production team. The Digital Content Operations Specialist will partner closely with our cross-functional and cross-regional counterparts in APAC and global HQ to support our site and digital channel partnership initiatives. The candidate must be well versed in the digital world and can utilize digital to elevate the customer and brand experience. The role requires a detail oriented, driven, and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute and distribute digital creative for .com site content and online partnerships
  • Manage the digital production workflow to produce and deliver all ecommerce and digital needs such as seasonal creative, online media placements, and platform enhancements
  • Partner closely with the ecommerce and digital marketing teams to service all APAC markets including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and South East Asia
  • Route all creative and changes through appropriate stakeholders for review & approvals
  • Maintain vendor relationships and track vendor deliverables
  • Create tech briefs in collaboration with regional ecommerce and/or marketing teams and publish content via vendors as applicable to each country's operating models
  • Ensure the creative/design team delivers high quality, on-brand designs on time
  • Effectively communicate and liaise with interdepartmental teams including marketing, IT, ecommerce, wholesale, legal, and global creative teams on digital content needs of the ecommerce businesses
  • Identify, implement, and collaborate on process improvements
  • Proactively monitor brand's digital properties across devices, channels, markets
  • Support QA of new creative design pages and production defects
  • Support the regions on bringing local content to life on digital flagship properties by closely collaborating with internal design teams in and Global HQ
  • Keep up-to-date on Global & Country-level Consumer Marketing Calendars and effectively manage project timeline to bring all campaigns to life on-time, on-brand, at all times
  • Keep the consumer at the center when creating digital experiences across various digital platforms

Requirements

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience managing digital projects, especially digital content in an ecommerce or digital agency environment
  • Understands creative development and digital project processes
  • Can effectively manage multiple projects and priorities across various channels
  • Performs well in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • You are also a strong communicator and relationship builder; a hands-on and independent self-starter; and a creative thinker and problem solver
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms preferred
  • Experience with Salesforces or Adobe CMS is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
  • English fluency/advance knowledge is a must; fluency/advanced knowledge of Mandarin, Cantonese and other Asian languages is highly valued

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Research, create and generate storyboard / shooting ideas for high-quality visual & video contents to drive views
  • Work independently for photo and video works including but not limited to pre-production, shooting, and editing
  • Work closely with different teams to generate desired content
  • Monitor and analyze current trends, conduct regular ad hoc market research to keep up with latest market trend and competitor activities in advertising communication
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Degree holder or above in Media/ Film/ Communication/ Design / Marketing/ or related disciplines
  • Experiences in photo / video shooting, retouching, editing, animation, art direction and layout creation.
  • Proficient in Adobe CS, including Premiere Pro, After Effect, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other graphic design/video editing tools
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese
  • Familiar with social media platforms and keep up with trends
  • Experience in content writing and editing would be a plus
  • Creative, have a positive and passionate approach with a can-do attitude.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure with tight deadlines, as well as cooperate well with team and stakeholders to achieve company goals
