Key Responsibility
  • Facilitate Unified Credit Management and communicate with the CNCB Head Office's ("CNCB HO") and centralized management of credit demand collection, ensuring effective management and transmission of relevant information, facilitating communication with the CNCB HO on the issues and providing solutions in a standardized approach

  • Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing requirement and sanction risks controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Requirement

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 6-8 years' experience in credit & portfolio management, preferably in wholesale / corporate banking.
  • Knowledge of wholesale and cross-border banking business.
  • Knowledge of loan and cross-border products and business as well as the relevant regulations.
  • Good analytical, interpersonal and communications skills.

Requirements:

  • Education Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in financial markets with solid understanding of financial products and risk factors.
  • Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing.

  • Advanced skills in Tableau, Power BI, and automation tools such as Power Automate.
  • Experience in statistical and data analysis.

  • Risk Expertise Exposure to credit analysis and familiarity with risk management principles is preferred.

  • Market Awareness Strong sensitivity to financial news and market movements.
  • Communication & Collaboration Effective communicator in English and Chinese, with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

Job Summary

  • To assist Team Head in managing the credit approval process for consumer secured and unsecured products. Responsible for conducting thorough credit assessments, providing recommendations, and granting approvals in strict compliance with internal credit policy and related procedures to ensure sound credit decisions and risk management.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Approve consumer auto loans and other consumer product applications submitted by business units within authorized lending limits, ensuring all approvals comply with established credit policies, guidelines, applicable laws, and regulations to promote responsible lending.
  • Review and analyze applicants' credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant documentation to assess creditworthiness to recommend or approve applications.
  • Conduct analytics and reviews to evaluate and manage consumer credit risk by analyzing segments that are either strong or at risk, optimizing risk and return dynamics.
  • Co-operate with internal and external control units to conduct review work and ad hoc reviews.
  • Enable the team to process credit applications promptly and with the necessary analysis and recommendation for credit acceptance criteria.

What We Are Looking For

  • University Degree or Tertiary education in Banking, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or related discipliners.
  • 3 to 5 years consumer credit or risk management experience preferably with exposures in auto finance, mortgage loan and credit card.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including MS word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Self-motivated, mature with a strong sense of responsibility and good communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with sound credit judgement and able to work under pressure.
